The ''Nijūhachi Bushū'' are a group of 28 gods under the command of Sahasrabhuja (Thousand-Armed Kannon), which includes members from other groups such as the Twelve Heavenly Generals and Twelve Devas. In this game however, their connection to Kannon is never mentioned or given importance. Karuraten is the only member of this faction to be a returning character from ''Namu Amida Butsu!''

* TeamPet: Acts as the only non-humanoid cute animal inhabitant of the temple when he's not in battle.
