* WomenAreWiser: Has shades of this with Gentle. Not that Danjuro is neccesarily dumb by comparison, but he is a lot more trusting and kind-hearted when it comes to dealing with others, unlike the cynical, pragmatic Manami. Notably, she is the one to make the neccesary background checks on Izuku during their negotiations and selects a place where any of Izuku's allies would be easily identified and disadvantaged. She is also the brains behind the duo's internet fame, being far more technically apt and familiar with the internet.

* GutturalGrowler: Dark Shadow's own voice, permanently. As for Tokoyami himself, he seems incapable of speaking on his own, as when he tries to apologise to Tomura for Dark Shadow attacking him, he is reduced to mouthing the words.

Particularly strong towards Kendo, however, whom Monoma instantly recognized as "textbook protagonist" and someone who would handily overshadow him without trying. This is also the main reason for his devotion towards Midoriya - Izuku is pretty much the one person in this world whom Monoma can't envy, yet has managed to push through the system and make something of himself despite his "curse".

* TheCreon: The only person Midoriya trusts completely to both be able to effectively lead the Syndicate and not try to undermine his position, seeing as Hitoshi has little interest in commanding others but is immensely capable and completely devoted to his old friend.

* EvilIsSexy: Far from the SkilledButNaive NiceGirl she used to be, she has become a much colder, more self-assured and confident young woman, something Todoroki notes immediately upon their reunion. She also is fully aware of her physical appeal and uses it to her advantage [[spoiler:with both Shoto and Izuku]].

* TheTease: [[spoiler:Makes full use of the fact that Midoriya knows he can't afford to simply reject all her advances, and gets more than a little affectionate with him to test the limits of his resolve when she believes they are alone.]]

* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: Provides one to Itsuka [[spoiler:after she is captured and interrogated]], stating that she used to hate her for acting like a shining beacon of morality but grew instead to love her when she realised what an act all of that was on Kendo's part.

* FauxAffablyEvil: While genuinely kind to his comrades, Compress has been seeing toying with his victims while undercover, such as when he singles out and compresses a terrified journalist for Toga to play with later.
* GentlemanThief: His villain persona is very well-mannered and elegant, and he is the one Midoriya usually assigns with smuggling and theft, be the items required tools, crafting materials, bodies or Syndicate operatives.

* AmbiguousDisorder: As per canon, it is not entirely clear what Jin's condition is and whether it has a clear real-world counterpart. Twice complains frequently about the voices in his head berating and demeaning him, reminding him how worthless he is. Midoriya recommends he prove the voices wrong by doing what it tells him he is unable to - which, incidentally, entails being more capable in Seraph's service.

* LoveMakesYouCrazy: His MoralEventHorizon comes entirely from [[spoiler:La Brava being skewered by bullets and left in critical condition before his eyes, sending him into an UnstoppableRage and allowing him to easily dominate his opponents with brute force]]. Even before this, every time Gentle has used Lover Mode made him noticeably more unhinged and aggresive than his usual affable personality.

* BewareTheSillyOnes: She might act like a CutesyDwarf and a lovesick {{Fangirl}} around Danjuro, but take him out of the picture and La Brava is fully capable of calculated, intelligent decisions and cold, bussiness-like attitude. She is also competent enough at her job as TheCracker that even the resident TeenGenius Hatsume cannot compare with her hacking and decryption skills.

* MoralEventHorizon: After Kaminari gets kidnapped and bound by a pair of human traffickers, he is used as a human shield after a pair of minor Heroes try to apprehend them and rescue him. Kaminari realizes he will be killed if an exchange of fire ensues, and tried to warn the heroes to step away from the puddle of water bound to become electrified should he use his Quirk to defend himself, but cannot due to the gag on his mouth. Desperate and frightened, he resolves to use his power anyway, and ends up saving himself at the cost of killing all four people present. Kaminari is understandably horrified and disgusted by his own actions, but before he can turn himself in, he is chased right into the League's hands, who talk him out of taking responsibility for the event, maintaining it was not his fault things turned out the way they did.

The third recruit to be revealed. While the reasons for his betrayal have yet to be revealed, it's implied that he is also a follower of Stain, believing that the current hero society is beyond saving and needs to be restarted. He is the one who initiated Utsushimi/Emperess into the Syndicate.

The first recruit candidate, revealed during the HSPC Tower Attack. She is also Bakugo's girlfriend, and no doubt was recruited in order for Midoriya to keep a close eye on his former friend.

With no Deku to run into Eri during her escape attempt, the raid against the Shie Hassaikai goes very differently than in canon, with the heroes pulling back after discovering and rescuing Eri, but at the cost of allowing Overhaul and most of his minions to escape. After this, Chisaki engaged in a two-year game of cat-and-mouse with Sir Nighteye, constantly on the backfoot before Izuku comes to him with an alliance proposal in preparation for Black Day.

* OhCrap: Despite the considerable power of his Quirk, Overhaul has bitten off more than he could chew on a couple of occasions. First time, he was incredibly shocked and frightened after [[spoiler:the effectively Quirkless Naomasa managed to blow off his right hand, rendering him vulnerable for the first time]]. He is the founder and current leader of Task Force Fenrir for that particular purpose and is in charge of its combat-focused operations, taking the fight to the Syndicate directly by attacking its sources of income and supplies.

Surviving his first encounter with Overhaul, Sir continues chasing the Hassaikai across the country until the Syndicate's emergence changes his priorities. He becomes Jeanist's second-in-command within the Task Force, and the group's main strategist.

He joins the Task Force after it becomes clear that the Hassaikai have allied with the Syndicate.

Having denied Izuku his dreams of becoming a Hero and never witnessing the intense resolve lurking in the young man, All Might went with his original, canon plan of scouting out a worthy successor at the U.A. Hero Course. He believes to have discovered this in Itsuka Kendo, whose bravery during the Forest Training Attack had impressed him greatly, and he eventually bestowed One for All upon her. Re-enacting his canon final fight with All for One (with simmilar results, albeit with a stronger All Might), Toshinori retired from Hero work and is content to act as a kindly mentor and father figure to Itsuka, with whom he has a close relationship.

Much like Deku in canon, after Itsuka inherited One for All she was sent to train with Nana Shimura's retired confidant, who mentored her in using the Quirk and seems to have taken a much greater liking to her than he did to Deku in canon. After the Syndicate makes its first moves, Gran Torino temporarily leaves retirement to provide both her and other Heroes with aid and advice.

Just as in canon, Eraserhead remains the homeroom teacher of Class 1-A at U.A., and is the one assigned to assess Midoriya's request to be transferred to the Hero Course. His blunt and somewhat brutal denial, coupled with punishing Midoriya and his friends with detention, crushes any remnants of hope Izuku might have been holding onto, and [[StartOfDarkness starts him down his downwards spiral]].
