* LightningBruiser: How Beck fights as default. He doesn't hit particularly hard, but he strikes fast, and when he's shot a foe enough to destabilize them, he can absorb-slash-annihilate them in one "[=AcXelerate=]" dash, which he can chain together in midair and multiple directions to cross ground at high speeds. He can even put down his superpowerful specialized siblings with just a few doses of this method.

* RefusalOfTheCall: Beck is not Rock. He has no directive programmed to drive him, just human emotion. And when White proposed Beck go to fight the hordes of murderous infected robots and his siblings the most powerful robots on Earth ''alone'', Beck decided he'd [[YouHaveGotToBeKiddingMe rather not]]. ''However'', [[GotVolunteered Professor White said "you're doing it"]], and that was the end of that.

of the game. She was Professor White's original design for Xel control long ago, but had to be decommissioned when she went rogue; now resurfacing as Mighty line of robots. His past is revealed over the cause for course of the robot rampage.game.

* AscendedExtra: She's effectively Call D, Inafune's pitched design for Call, fully realized as her own character.
* TheAssimilator: Trinity does this in ''both'' senses. Not only can she rewrite a robot's programming to become a HiveMind extension of herself, she also absorbs robots directly into her physical being, both of which she combines to cover all her bases. You could only hope to fight her if you're a robot, but you can't attack her from afar, her hordes will overwhelm you, and you can't attack her directly for risk of being effectively ''eaten''. Well -- [[SuperiorSuccessor unless your name is]] ''[[TheHero Beck]]''.
* AssimilationPlot: Trinity's only objective is to expand and evolve. And so, she seeks to do this by consuming... and consuming... and consuming into an infinite, mindless cycle of overgrowth.
* BishonenLine: Trinity starts off looking like a gigantic, monstrous xel with fangs. After this form is defeated and she begins experiencing emotion, she enters a flowerlike state of a far more graceful appearance. When finally restored to her true form at the battle's end, she is a lovely, demure-looking android.
* BulletHell: Her first form covers the screen in shots.
* ComboPlatterPowers: The very same combo as Beck, at that.
* EvilCounterpart: Zigzagged. Being Beck's direct prototype, Trinity is this in that her only goal is to endlessly consume robots and grow, as her interpretation of her programmed directive to evolve. However, that's just it -- she isn't evil; she has no concept of morality, only to do as necessary to follow her purpose in perpetuity.
* {{Expy}}: Her first form uses an attack that's very reminiscent of the infamous [[VideoGame/MegaMan1 Yellow Devil]]; that is, spitting out chunks of her body across the arena and then absorbing them back.
* FlawedPrototype: She was White's pride as the ultimate in xel-manipulation technology, but she was violently unstable. White made it a point to, in his next project, refine these systems to proper functionality. [[TheReveal This project was none other than Beck himself.]]
* HiveQueen: Trinity can more or less turn the entirety of the US's robot population into an extension of herself with ''frightening'' ease, which only ultimately serves to feed her the bodies of the collective perpetually and churn out more.
* HeelRealization: Thanks to her direct clash with Beck, Trinity develops some semblance of emotional self-awareness... and when she realizes the horror of what she's been doing, she ''loses it''.
* {{Leitmotif}}: ''[[https://youtu.be/r8m1878yYYc "Trinity"]]'', which plays during her second form's boss battle.
* MechanicalAbomination: She's long evolved into this, becoming what is effectively a factory made of other robots with the capacity to instantly assimilate any xel that doesn't have true emotion or was offline at the time, all directed by a BlobMonster at the core, intelligence without a mind. Most notably, the less Eldritch (physically ''and'' psychologically) she becomes, the less evil she gets.
* MookMaker: Just like Beck's [=MegaXel=] Rexelection, Trinity spawns Proto-Xels of varying sizes to suppress intrusion at the Colosseum.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: After her first form and she mutates into a flower-like monstrosity, Call picks up acute signs of intense emotional distress from Trinity. White explains that, in having the same kind of systems as Beck, Trinity learns from others, and she's begun to develop emotions in consequence of encountering him. The result is her realizing what she's done, and blindly attacking Beck in confusion and panic.
* MythologyGag: Her design is Call D's design, with Wily-like batwings for hair.
* NonMaliciousMonster: She's mindless for most of the game, being unable to realize how much pain she's causing through her constant absorption and evolution. Even in her second form, where she copies enough of Beck's emotional capacity to develop actual aggression and start really trying to kill him, she's just lashing out at what she thinks is causing her [[HeelRealization emotional distress]]. When she fully copies him and ascends to her most powerful form, she realizes what she's been doing and surrenders.
* RidiculouslyHumanRobot: After she is redeemed and taken back to Sanda Technologies, Professor White gives her a nigh-human form, the same as Beck and Call.
* RobotGirl: She uses Call Design D for her humanized form.
* TheSpeechless: Has only beeps, growls, and screeches for vocalization.
* TheUnfettered: At first, and ''this'' is what made prioritizing emotion in Professor White's robots such a big deal. All Trinity had was an ability and a directive without any kind of self-deigned will, and that ''directly'' led to her becoming a MechanicalAbomination.
* WaveMotionGun: In the latter part of her second phase, Trinity begins to use her own variation of Beck's FinishingMove, except with her corrupted xel over his purifying variation. Thankfully, she can only fire for so long without pausing, allowing Beck to slip through safely.
* WombLevel: A robotic variation. By the time Beck goes to confront her, she's absorbed so many robots that her physical form has grown grotesquely beyond capacity and effectively consumed the entire stadium. From here, he has to venture to the center of her expanded being to find her core and correct it.

The Patch helper robots are special delivery robots of varying colors and sizes. In ''Mighty No. 9'', they help players by delivering recovery items at checkpoints (except in [[HarderThanHard Hyper]] mode), ranging from Recovery Xels to [=AcXel=] Boosts that grants a temporary power-up with a longer duration than absorbing the enemies with such effects, depending on how frequently the player loses lives during a stage. Patch also supports Call in the Prison stage and co-op challenges by giving her the ability to dash, hover in mid-air, and supply power for her barrier in ''Mighty No. 9''; in ''Mighty Gunvolt Burst'', they serve as allies that attack enemies alongside Call.
