Born and raised in Boston to an Irish immigrant father and a Puerto Rican mother, Eric Grimes had just graduated from high school and was on his way to attending at MIT not long before turning 19. However, while he was on a vacation at Angkor Wat with his family, a strange orb transported him to the Franchise/MassEffect universe, two years prior to the events of the first game. Feeling powerless to change anything and unable to find a way back, he'll adapt to his new universe.
