* {{Expy}}: Their personalities, the latter's choice of weaponry, the selected background music for their appearance post-breakout,[[note]]"Soul Clef XI"[[/note]] and the chapter title being an anagram all heavily suggest that they're ponified versions of [[WebAnimation/RedVsBlue Locus and Felix.]] The key difference between both groups is that there's no evidence to suggest that Gates has been manipulating Bastion. Confirmed by the author in the Chapter's Notes for "Sabotages Tin".

* AchillesHeel: Leviathan can storm through most of what Equestria throws at her, even if what is thrown is flammable. However, as Salamandra demonstrates [[spoiler:and Illudere exploits]], she has no real answer for illusions.

* CelibateHero: "Single and uninterested", in her words.

* CharacterNarrator: The bulk of the story is told from her perspective, and she seems to be aware that someone in the future might be interested enough in her memories to see them for themselves.

* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: In keeping with the AnimalJingoism above, "Overused Specter-centric Pun" fully establishes her as being afraid of dogs.

* BenevolentBoss: Doesn't throw a fit if their agents fail or otherwise don't meet their expectations, knowing that they're not the ones at fault. They focus their ire on Leviathan instead.

* TrappedInAnotherWorld: [[spoiler:Briefly ended up on Earth in 20XX, meeting Dr. Light and his creations. She was eventually returned home with help from them, plus another scientist and what's implied to be a slew of Robot Masters.]]

* HatesBeingTouched: Is initially repulsed by ponies' propensity for close contact, no thanks to Drama Heart's antics during their first encounter. She gradually starts growing out of this.

* TheQuietOne: While Fiver can and will speak, it won't be with any sort of volume. Even when calling to somepony to wait up so she can catch up, her voice won't rise any higher than normal. She says she could talk normally if she wanted to, but views this quality as being normal for her.

* {{Beat}}: ''Always'' starts off her sentences with ellipses. According to her profile, she does this to make herself seem more emotionless than she really is. Her foregoing this is a sign that she's taking things seriously.

* ObliviouslyBeautiful: An eye-catching and beautiful young pony, but oblivious to most of the attention she gets.

* YouHaveFailedMe: Very much ''defied.'' Quarter isn't quick to anger or violence if their agents and servants fail in their work, saying that such behavior would be counteractive to their goals. She does abandon the scientists on the Zoolinef project when it fails, but even then the worst that happened to them was their arrest and imprisonment.

* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Chocolate milk, with Quarter saying at one point that she'd hate to have a body that was lactose-intolerant.

* TrappedInAnotherWorld: [[spoiler:Is implied to have been to Earth at least long enough to have met the original Mega Man.]]

* IWasQuiteALooker: She and Celestia both remember her as quite stunning in her youth. Fast forward to the time when she's having trouble seeing and needs help getting around and requires her grandson to help her out, and she's not quite so stunning anymore.

* ShoutOut: Per the author's comments, her name is one of the lyrics from the Music/BeastieBoys' song "Intergalactic".

* SugarAndIcePersonality: Between her stoicism and snark, the 'ice' side of her personality is what everyone else sees. The readers start to see the 'sugar' side when Gray begins crying in response to something she's reading, prompting Fiver to dry her mother's tears and ask if she's alright.

A baby filly created via science and magic by First Quarter and her team, kept alive in a hidden cylinder in Mocha Corp. HQ's sub-basement.

* AdaptationalBackstoryChange: Cozy Glow's origins in the source material were never fully explored, with an implication by ''MLP's'' staff that she was an orphan and nothing more. Here, she is deliberately created by First Quarter as the ''second'' iteration of one of her past bodies.
* GoneHorriblyWrong: Quarter's plan for Project Ashes was to half ensure her original Cutie Mark would never hound her again, and half to give Cozy Glow a second shot at a peaceful life. The disasters that are instigated in Seasons 8 and 9 of the source material show how well ''that'' turned out.
* WalkingSpoiler: The revelation of her identity as the filly later known in Seasons 8 and 9 of ''MLP'' as ''Cozy Glow'' makes her importance difficult to hide.

* HeadPet: Or 'Hair Pet', as the case may be. The group's first face-to-face meeting with [[spoiler:First Quarter]] sees Illudere with a crab, of all things, hanging from her mane with its pincers. She does nothing to remove it, and treats any inquiries she makes as if they come from it. Its name is later revealed to be Ralph.

* EmotionlessGirl: Is basically Maud Pie Lite. When she's kidnapped, her behavior in this regard is able to unnerve the culprit. The expression seen in her artwork to the right is all but permanent.

* EnemyDetectingRadar: Leviathan's systems are able to clue her in on incoming threats, even if she to get a visual of them to confirm what they are.
