!!Cocoa Mocha
The aged head of one of the richest businesses in Manehattan.
----
* EvilOldFolks: Is old enough to have two teenage granddaughters, is dying from the effects of old age, and is a bit senile. Yet, he has ''some'' sort of plan to knock Celestia off her throne, and the agents with which to enact it.

Added DiffLines:

!!Caramel and Hazelnut Mocha
The granddaughters of Cocoa, and the heirs to the business he runs.
----
* AffectionateNickname: Between the two of them, they refer to each other as "Carrie" and "Hazel".
* LockedOutOfTheLoop: Neither of the two know anything about what their grandfather is planning. Cocoa knows that they're too good-hearted ''not'' to go to the Police if they catch wind of anything.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: Hazelnut is stated to be going through a tomboy phase, being a bit more rough with her speech and preferring suits over the dresses that Caramel favors.

* EasilyForgiven: Was let off the hook quickly by Ebony, despite playing a practical joke that unknowingly took advantage of the younger mare's phobia. While Ebony prefers not to be around her due to her general creepiness, she doesn't hold that event against her.

* LargeHam: As befits one who works in Manehattan's entertainment industry, she has no problems delving into this whenever she wants. See her character quote above.

Gray herself has stated that she has tried visiting doctors multiple times to find out what's wrong, but her idiosyncrasies have proven to be too much of a turnoff for them for her to get a proper diagnosis.]]

Added DiffLines:

* {{Housewife}}: Constantly refers to herself as a "humble housewife", even after it's shown that she's capable of much more, and views her family as her greatest trophies far superior to any thrill she could possibly get from combat.

Added DiffLines:

* LethalChef: Quite possibly, if being forced to sign an affidavit saying that she would never cook again after the "cornbread incident" is any indication.

Added DiffLines:

* WackyParentSeriousChild: Serves as the "wacky parent" to Ebony and Fiver's "serious child". While the foals aren't without their amusing moments, Gray's the family's resident oddball.

!!The Midnight Castle Gang

A group of thieves who are hired by Alexandrite to steal everything within the Pyre's confines. They serve as Leviathan's first opponents in her new environs.
----
* CurbstompBattle: Are on the receiving end of this, with Fairy dropping them in only two moves despite their implied skill.
* {{Expy}}: The personalities of Bastion and Iron Gates, along with the latter's choice of weaponry, both heavily suggest that they're ponified versions of [[Machinima/RedVsBlue Locus and Felix.]] The key difference between both groups is that there's no evidence to suggest that Gates has been manipulating Bastion.
* StarterVillain: The gang as a whole comes into conflict with Leviathan during her first night in Manehattan, and are the first enemies she faces off against.
* ThemeNaming: All the members share names that are related in some way to castles. Bastion, Iron Gates, and Barricade--the earth ponies of the group--all pertain to the defenses of such fortresses. The pegasi, Knight and Gargoyle, both have names that are heavily associated with castles, whether as defenders or as decorations. Finally the unicorns, Moat and Bridge,[[note]]as in "drawbridge"[[/note]] both involve entry into the castle's confines.

[[caption-width-right:300:Pictured: beauty. Not pictured: brains.]]
A young and talented artist. Good-looking if her picture to the right is anything to go by, but doesn't keep all the lights on upstairs.
----
* FelonyMisdemeanor: Per her character profile, she views getting splashed by Leviathan while the Reploid was roof-hopping as this; annoying, yes, but hardly worth nursing a grudge over.
* GoldDigger: Is already doing well financially, but wants to do even better by marrying somepony richer than she is.
* ShoutOut: Her name is one to the planetary system of the same name from ''[[VideoGame/{{Descent}} Descent II]]''.
* TheDitz: Described as "forgetful and not very bright outside her element". Her first appearance has her completely forgetting the time she was supposed to meet Smooth Beat, leaving him to wait at the door while she wasted time sunbathing.

* DangerousForbiddenTechnique: While Gray doesn't outright show or say what it is, she confirms to Shining Armor that she has one of these in her portfolio. Two things are made clear about it: she ''has'' used it to kill in the past, and that using it when she's at anything less than tip-top shape puts her at risk of a heart attack.

Added DiffLines:

* HeelRealization: Drama realizes that she almost got herself killed by her own greed after Leviathan, who the unicorn had previously been chasing to procure for the Pyre, saved her from a lightning strike. * EccentricArtist: Does such things as hugging Leviathan to make her wake up, play up her Salamandra persona in business matters to make her seem insane, and dance around the room to music ''while cleaning Levi's frame and endoskeleton''.
* HorrifyingTheHorror: Drama takes great pride in her ability to scare her audience senseless, and is fully immersed in horror itself. However, she ''has'' admitted to being scared enough of Gray Ghost on one occasion that she thought the pegasus was going to kill her.

Added DiffLines:

!!Fairy Leviathan

One of Neo Arcadia's Four Guardians, Leviathan was disintegrated by Omega's death throes only to mysteriously rematerialize in Manehattan, Equestria. For tropes pertaining to her appearance in her source material, click [[Characters/MegaManZeroAntagonists here.]]
----
* CharacterNarrator: The bulk of the story is told from her perspective, and she seems to be aware that someone in the future might be interested enough in her memories to see them for themselves.
* CurbStompBattle: Deals one of these to the entire Midnight Castle game, bringing them low in only two moves.
* CutenessProximity: Is able to rein in the urge to squeal when subjected to how adorable Equestria's residents can be at times, but she knows it's only a matter of time before she cracks.
* FirstPersonSmartass: As it turns out, Leviathan has a lot going on in her head. Whenever the story focuses on her perspective, she inwardly comments on everything about Equestria and its inhabitants that gets her attention. She keeps a handful of snark reserved for Gray and Drama, who are two of the quirkiest individuals she's met in her life.
* FishOutOfWater: Comes from a tech-centric world, and has difficulty getting used to one centered around magic.
* GoodThingYouCanHeal: When Leviathan lands on the rooftop, it's with the heavy damage she picked up from being curbstomped by Omega at the start of ''Zero 3'', including a fairly nasty rent in her side. Her auto-repair systems are capable of restoring her to full health without outside help, though it's a slow process.
* HeelRealization: Goes through several of these. The first centers on the "retirement" of innocent Reploids that she took part in previously, prompting her to come clean to the city's residents via the local newspaper. The other is when she forgets that she's dealing with flesh-and-blood ponies instead of machines and threatens to pull several ponies' wings off, driving her to apologize to them with the Royal Police as her witnesses.
* HeroicBSOD: Learning that magic is a legitimate concept will do that to a robot. Leviathan's hardware crashes and causes her to faint when she first hears about it.
* RobotHair: [[spoiler:Beneath her helmet lies a full head of frizzy ocean blue hair, tipped white]].
* SignatureLaugh: As a reference to her appearance in the fairly goofy ''Rockman Zero'' manga, Leviathan has "Kyahahaha!" as her default laugh.
* SuperToughness: Without giving the location's name,[[note]]most likely due to the locals never having heard of the place[[/note]] Leviathan states that she's durable enough to survive trips to the Mariana Trench, the deepest underwater location on Earth.
* TrappedInAnotherWorld: And having read her fair share of fiction, she's not happy about it. Returning to Neo Arcadia to fight against Dr. Weil is her primary goal.
* VariantPowerCopying: [[spoiler:Steals Zero's Charged Slash for her own use in-between the events of ''Zero 2'' and ''3'',]] modifying it to suit her needs.
