* DidntThinkThisThrough: Happens during her time in Fourberg, she met a boy called Ludo Bets who offered to smuggle her and Dicey back to Onecroft if they helped him get his brother Bruno back from the High Roller. She succeeds in doing this, however she was so desperate to go home, [[spoiler:she never considered that doing this would nearly get her killed at the hands of the brothers, who have been corrupted by the bag itself.]]

* TheHerosJourney: Or as the game describes it, The Dice Wielder's Journey. Not only is it Even's journey as a dice wielder, but it's also the journey that she takes in order to find and save her sister, Odd.

Five artisans who made cards for everyone in Random before the Queen enslaved them. They are the Visionary who imagines the card, the Painter who draws the card, the Gluer who fixes the card to a back, the Alchemist who empowers the card, and the Rulemaster who dictates what the card can do.

* ActuallyIAmHim: Even gets off on the wrong foot with the Alchemist by calling him "little one" and asking where to find the Alchemist.
* BodyHorror: Most characters have some semblance of a proper body, but the Visionary is an onion-shaped mass of flesh with eyes and a nose swirled in.
* DramaQueen: The Gluer likes to jazz up his role in Even's journey with melodramatic lines. Life in his cell was very boring.
* TheNapoleon: The Alchemist is a short, rat-like creature with a foul temper.
* PowerEchoes: The Visionary is the most mystically inclined Card Maker, and he speaks in a booming voice.
