* AffablyEvil: While he's mostly FauxAffablyEvil, as stated below, he does have a select few moments of genuine affability. In the first film, he offered to shine Ozzie's shoes. In the third, he briefly developed an OddFriendship with an ElvisImpersonator. In the sixth, he impatiently but politely waited for someone to finish their cellphone call before speaking with them. He has also been known to sometimes spare humans if they return his gold. He usually won't kill if he's not provoked. That being said, he does have his share of KickTheDog moments, perhaps DependingontheWriter.

* AxCrazy: Watch out for the sharp fingernails and teeth, he bites and scratches. That said, an axe was one of many weapons he'd use in addition to that and his magic.

* KickTheDog: In the fifth film, he horribly kills a transvestite while having sex with them for seemingly no reason, and he later starts having his Zombie Fly Girls bring him victims to kill for fun. This was jarringly out of character, as he usually does not kill without reason.

This was jarringly out of character, as he usually does not kill without reason. Though, you might imagine that his less provoked attacks are from people stealing his riches on a fair basis, so you could wager it as his distrust.

* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: He's the reason why the Leprechaun terrorizes Tori and her friends considering that he knocks the four-leaf clover off of the crate which frees him out of the crate and he also finds the bag of gold coins and even consumes one of the coins which results in the Leprechaun nearly killing him at the end.

* ButtMonkey: Although he himself has inflicted multiple murders and injuries, he also gets shot at, punched, burnt, kicked by humans but because 95% of the time it was out of self-defense, he should've seen it coming and it's hard to feel sympathy for him.

* ImmuneToBullets: He's immune to almost ''anything''. Gunfire doesn't kill him, it can only propel him away for 1 to 2 feet from original position. Though carrying a gun is a better decision than not because at least then it can buy you some time to run away from Lubdan.
* ItsAllAboutMe: Cares only about himself; the only humans he's ever shown to gotten along with were an ElvisImpersonator and a stoner who offered him the chance to smoke weed out of a water bong, and in the latter case, their friendship only lasted for 62 seconds before Lubdan found out the stoner secretly had one of his golden coins.

Lubdan. Across the board, if 'mortally' wounded, he will stay still and then twitch as his body apparently repairs itself.
* ItsAllAboutMe: Cares It seems to some like he cares only about himself; himself, though he has generally left others alone if they did not insult him or steal his gold and even then, he has sometimes just asked for it back. This trope is quite apparent when in the fourth film, he is not up to the idea of sharing his wealth with the alien princess; the only humans he's ever shown to gotten along with were an ElvisImpersonator and a stoner who offered him the chance to smoke weed out of a water bong, and in the latter case, their friendship only lasted for 62 seconds before Lubdan found out the stoner secretly had one of his golden coins.

* ResurrectiveImmortality: It's impossible to permanently kill Lubdan. Even if his body is blown to pieces, or ejected into the void of space, he'll eventually regenerate.
* {{Sadist}}: He loves killing and inflicting pain.
