Scripts and other documents make it clear that Cedric does not rule over the Bulls' castle on Castle Island; it actually belongs to the Bull King and Bull Queen who appear during the Jousting minigame.

!!Gnarly Bones

->Voiced by: Mike Jones

* AscendedExtra: Gnarly Bones first appeared in the skateboard park of LEGO Island 2 as a background character with a non-speaking role. He's given a bigger role in the sequel, Island Xtreme Stunts.
* FriendlySkeleton: As his name indicates, Gnarly Bones is a skeleton. He's also a friendly skateboarder who races against Pepper.
* SuddenNameChange: In the Game Boy Advance version of LEGO Island 2, he is referred to as Bony Hawk. This was changed to Gnarly Bones in Island Xtreme Stunts.

* AdaptationalJerkass: While he was already the BigBad of the Knights Kingdom 1 sets he originated from, he did have some redeeming qualities, such as him taking the orphaned boy Weezil under his wing and having a FreudianExcuse explaining that he wanted Leo's castle due to not having his own kingdom to rule. But here, none of those traits of Cedric exist. He has a castle of his own, which eliminates the purpose of why he was after Leo's, and he proves that he WouldHurtAChild in his battle against Pepper.

He has a castle of his own, which eliminates the purpose of why he was after Leo's, and Here, he proves that he WouldHurtAChild in his battle against Pepper.

* OneSteveLimit: In the game itself, Cedric the Bull is the only character named "Cedric". However, the text dump for the Game Boy Advance version refers to the Bull King as "King Cedric", meaning there are at least two Cedrics associated with the Bulls faction.

"Read", matching her original Danish name.

camp. According to the design document, he's speaking "an ancient language".

* AdaptationNameChange:
** Sort of (it's always a confusing issue with this character). When LEGO Island 2 was released in 2001, this character was most commonly known as Sam Sinister (or Sam Sanister) in Toys/LEGOAdventurers, but this game goes back to using "Mr. Hates", one of his various Dub Name Changes from the Egypt subtheme in 1998. If you were an American LEGO fan and never read The Curse of the Mummy puzzle book, you'd be very confused why this character is suddenly given a completely different name.
** Played more straight in the design document for DIG (an unreleased Toys/LEGOAdventurers-based sequel to LEGO Island), where he is named "Colonel or Baron von Brickoff of Buildovia". Unlike "Mr. Hates", "von Brickoff" was never a name he went by in the Adventurers series. Amusingly, the document claims that he often changes his name and story.

* DubNameChange: Despite being called "Mr. Hates" in the English version, he is named "Sam Sinister" in all non-English versions, though it is literally translated as "Sam Finster" in the German version. This is especially peculiar, considering that "Sam Sinister" was his most common English name at the time while "Mr. Hates" had been used in 1998 German Adventurers media and the Danish version of VideoGame/LEGORacers; meanwhile, Johnny Thunder is the only other Adventurers character with a DubNameChange in LEGO Island 2, and only in Spanish and German.

to:

* DitchingTheDubNames: Sort of (it's always a confusing issue with this character). Along with the other Toys/LegoAdventurers characters in LEGO Island 2, Mr. Hates uses his original Danish name instead of localized names like Baron von Barron. However, when LEGO Island 2 was released in 2001, this character was most commonly known as Sam Sinister (or Sam Sanister) at the time, making it seem like an AdaptationNameChange for anyone who wasn't familiar with his original name.
