** Her SocialDarwinist ideology absolutely doesn't apply to her friends. The Elite Four are badasses, true, but they can't hold a candle to Ryuko, and they all get stripped by her. Satsuki just gives them better uniforms when they lose, when any lesser student would be back to No-Star. [[spoiler:Here, it's plain hypocrisy. She used the battles to train Ryuko up as well as catch weaknesses in the Elite Four's Goku uniforms, treating them completely different from any average fight at the academy. Satsuki's ideology exists to serve Satsuki's goals, and she'll happily ignore the former when it interferes with the latter.]]

* LongGame: She's been building her power at Honnouji Academy for years, and [[spoiler:has waited all this time to unleash the army she's built against her mother. Ragyo and the COVERS dismantle it within minutes.]]

* NotSoStoic: It says a lot in Episode 17 that we get see her we see her visibly ''enraged'', when she [[spoiler:stabs Ragyo]].

* PlotArmor: While Ryuko had this during her first fight with Satsuki, the latter has had this for a longer period of time; predominantly the last quarter of the anime. From [[spoiler:episode 18 onward, it seems like the writers could have killed her off at any given moment.]] Below is a list of times she could have died:

When she reveals her true colors, her [[CrazyPrepared crazy preparations]] are rapidly exhausted, whereupon she realizes she is unable to fight back without help from those she was stomping down for the sake of appearing subservient.]]

** For all her speeches about her ambitions, when you discover her base motivation, it is really no different than Ryuko's: [[spoiler:She wants revenge for her father and sister's death.]]

* HairDecorations: Has small wings in her hair when Junketsu is activated.

* BiTheWay: She openly admits to ogling and discussing Ryuko's chest alongside the rest of her family, she thinks Ryuko is sexy and is, in general, very clingy around her. [[spoiler:In the final episode, she kisses Ryuko on the lips (possibly, it was during a [[ImagineSpot "Hallelujah" moment]]) and asks her on a date, which they go on in the episode's CreativeClosingCredits.]] However, she also comments on how she wants the first person to see her naked is the man she loves.

She holds to a [[PuttingOnTheReich fascist]] ideology of fear, subjugation, contradiction and [[TheSocialDarwinist Social Darwinism]], which she ruthlessly imposes on her underlings, Honnoji Academy and the rest of Japan by force of arms, because [[spoiler:that's what she thinks it will take to bring down her mother and save the world.]] Enemies are to be destroyed if weak, or co-opted if strong. [[spoiler:After fighting Ryuko, however, she admits that she was wrong to just use people like that.]] If included on a D&D chart, with her CharacterDevelopment, she would switch from LawfulNeutral to LawfulGood.

* WeakButSkilled: She's nowhere near as strong as Ragyo or a fully synced Ryuko, but what she lacks in strength she more than makes up for in tenacity and determination.

* NiceMeanAndInBetween: [[NiceGirl Mako]] and [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold Ryuko]] are the nice and mean, respectively, with [[HonestAdvisor Senketsu]] acting as the in-between.
