Whereas Kaito wanted to rid the world of those who would tout their strength and suppress the weak, Adel wants to eliminate those he deemed inferior and imperfect. Their monstrous forms -- the Perfect Ganmaizer and Lord Baron, are a definite match to the respective main Riders' final forms.

* SmugSnake: He is this to Adel's SmugSuper.

** Adel is also considered the Kamen Rider versions of both [[Manga/DragonBall Cell and Frieza]] -- both are SmugSuper {{Narcissist}}s and [[TheSociopath megalomaniacal sociopaths]]. Adel has Frieza's [[BerserkButton tendency to snap]] at the moment that an act of empathy is given to him as shown with Takeru connecting to his emotions, combining aspects with Cell's Perfect form making it analogous to the Perfect Ganmaizer.

** He's also similar to the Franchise/MarvelCinematicUniverse incarnation of SelfDemonstrating/{{Loki}}. Kamen Rider fans can interpret Adel is what Loki would have been if he became the king of the Asgardians by dethroning Odin, and [[Film/ThorTheDarkWorld disguising himself as Odin]] serves as a small joke how Adel overthrew his father and became TheEmperor.

* WilfullyWeak: The Specter doppelganger intentionally allows himself to be [[CurbStompBattle curbstomped]] by the real Makoto to make [[{{Synchronization}} him feel pain]].

* WeakButSkilled: The Specter doppelganger intentionally allows himself to be [[CurbStompBattle curbstomped]] by the real Makoto to make [[{{Synchronization}} him feel pain]].

* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: [[spoiler:Takeru manages to break through Adel's defenses in Episode 48 and, along with an assist from Alia, shows Adel the error of his ways. It doesn't last long before the Ganmaizers forcibly assimilate him, leaving Takeru with no choice but to kill him.]]

* BewareTheSillyOnes: Ganmaizer Climate, who usually carries a silly-looking blue bird with cloud for wings that looks like [[Franchise/Pokemon Swablu]], is actually the very Ganmaizer that guided Adel into becoming Perfect Ganmaizer, the one that helped other Ganmaizers in developing sentience and emotion. The birds may look silly, but when used in attack, they hit as hard as other Ganmaizer's attacks.

* {{Expy}}: Being the evil counterpart of 15 heroes and The Great Eye, this would makes them expy of [[FateZero Corrupted Holy Grail]]. Bonus points that they are also voiced by Creator/SayakaOhara.

* PhysicalGod: They are the protector gods of the Ganma world and the backbone of the world's existence. They are strong enough to stop the summoning of The Great Eye when Takeru tried to do it for the second time, by sending a huge energy blast towards the monolith in the Dai-Tenkuji temple.

* BigBad: [[spoiler: After the events of episode 22, he's taken over the position for now. Episode 27 cements him further...but there is an [[BiggerBad even bigger threat]] than Adel after his redemption in episode 48.]]

* BiggerBad: Takeru's friends realize that the real threat to the world is the Ganmaizers and not Adel (who has been manipulated by the Ganmaizers all along), [[spoiler:which is made worse when they merge with the Great Eye]].

*** He also holds some similarities with [[Series/KamenRiderKiva Taiga Nobori]], both non human riders (Alian is a Ganma while Taiga is a Fangire) were originally antagonistic to the heroes so they can achieve their goals for the sake of their races until they became good upon learning the error of their ways about humanity's problem.
