* SmugSuper: Perhaps as a counterreaction to her parents' insistence on her being " normal", Eve is shown at times to be dismissive and even condescending towards people without powers. Her fathers' biggest JerkassHasAPoint moment has him chew her out on how she seems to think herself "above" the rules of normal people.

* SuperSpeed: He is able to fly at superhuman speeds as shown in Episode Seven of Season One. After being resurrected by the Mauler Twins, he flew off in a rage to find Omni-Man at Mach 3 according to the GDA trackers. However, he is still nowhere near as fast as Omni-Man or even Invincible as he himself is forced to admit in Season Two.
* SuperStrength: He is the strongest human on Earth, but his strength still pales compared to the strength of Viltrimites like Invincible and especially Omni-Man.

* DeconstructedCharacterArchetype: Of the PluckyComicRelief teammates in most SuperTeam ensembles. While to the viewer his constant antics can be funny, to his teammmates in-universe who actually have to work with him his behavior is highly irritating and confusing at best. His frequent self-serving lies get his team in trouble constantly and while his powerset is extremely useful and versatile on paper his inexperience with being a superhero means he's pretty much useless in an actual fight and has to have more powerful team members bail him out.

* CruelMercy: What Mark basically does to her. Rather than killing her like everyone else who resists against the Viltrum Empire, he instead crushes part of her neck, paralyzing her from the neck down and leaving her completely unable to do ''anything'' as Mark and his father continue their plans on conquering Earth for the empire.

* HeroOfAnotherStory: Mark meets Agent Spider when he is fighting his enemy Prof Ock and their conversation reveals that he's already familiar with TheMultiverse and recognizes that Invincible is a DimensionTraveller.

* AlternateSelf: He's ''very'' heavily implied to be a multiversal variant of Spider-Man, given his SeenItAll attitude regarding Mark's sudden appearance and knowledge of the multiverse (especially in recent times).

* CastingGag: His voice actor, Creator/JoshKeaton, is well known for having voiced one of the most fondly remembered [[WesternAnimation/TheSpectacularSpiderman iterations]] of Spider-Man. This is also hardly [[WesternAnimation/YoungJustice the first time]] he's voiced a SpiderManSendup.

* LawyerFriendlyCameo: In the comics, Mark [[IntercontinuityCrossover was sent to]] the Franchise/MarvelUniverse and an issue of ''ComicBook/MarvelTeamUp'' had him work with Spider-Man. Since this couldn't happen for legal reasons, Agent Spider was created as a stand in for Spider-Man.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: Mark points out to Agent Spider during their encounter that his red goggles don't do him any favours in making him look heroic.

* NoNameGiven: He's only known as "Agent Spider". Though given that he's an [[SpiderManSendUp obvious stand-in of the original webhead]] and a possible [[AlternateSelf multiversal variant]], it's possible that his real name is "Peter Parker".
* RedEyesTakeWarning: Mark points out to Agent Spider during their encounter that his red goggles don't do him any favours favors in making him look heroic.

* SpiderManSendUp: He's a spider themed hero who can wall crawl and swing on webs, and even has an octopus themed villain. Mark pointing out he has [[RedEyesTakeWarning red eyes]] and was fighting an old man also brings to mind Spidey's famous HeroWithBadPublicity status. Notably, his appearance is actually a direct substitute for the ''real'' Spider-Man's appearance in the original comic.

* VirtuousCharacterCopy: Specifically, he's one to Black Spider of ''WesternAnimation/YoungJustice2010'', where the latter is ironically a more obviously CorruptedCharacterCopy of Spider-Man.

* BadLiar: He is not particularly good at pretending to be human, to put it mildly. So much so that he gets fired from NASA because they think he's gone insane, and even ''Rex'' knows that something is off with Shapesmith and openly questions where he's from.

So much so that he gets fired from NASA because they think he's gone insane, and even ''Rex'' knows that something is off with Shapesmith and openly questions where he's from. Pretty much everybody already knew he was a martian from the moment he joined the Guardians except for Black Samson, but they don't bring it up until a martian ship is coming to Earth because they want to know what he knows about it.

The scene where Mark makes fun of Batman's name is on the comic too

* DecompositeCharacter: A very minor example. He's a Spider-Man {{expy}} who replaces the original character who appeared in the comics, but the scene where Invincible makes fun of Spider-Man's name is instead given to a [[ComicBook/{{Batman}} man who dresses up as a bat]].

The trope is specifically to be used regarding orphan dynamics, of which Eve shares none. On top of that, slashing two tropes on a single entry like that is a no-no.

* MissingMom / DisappearedDad: [[spoiler: The Atom Eve special reveals that the Wilkins are not her real parents. Her biological mother Polly volunteered her pregnancy to the Pentagon's Department of Superhuman Research and died in childbirth due to her body being unable to handle Eve's superpowers. She was revived by Erickson to create more children like Eve but was little more than a braindead husk in that state and ultimately died again and for good when she was shot during a struggle between Erickson and Brandyworth. Eve's biological father is never even shown, leaving his identity and whereabouts a RiddleForTheAges.]]
