* ThereAreNoTherapists: Zigzagged. Gladion wasn't given therapy as he shown to be fine up until the search for his father had them go on a Train. Specter can't get therapy due to his status as a cyber-terrorist (and Ryoken's insistence there's no train) and Tokio mentions he's taken therapy to Gladion, even using a technique when Specter has a panic attack, before lampshading that Gladion should really go get therapy some time.

* TragicHero: All of them wanted to save the Train from the Apex; they ended up nearly ''destroying'' the Train with their actions. Gladion's final words before he left the train cement it -- he just wanted to be the knight whosaved everyone.

* MythologyGag: Specter gifts them a mirror broach, which is something the Specter of ''Infinity Train: Melancholy Afterlife'' wore (albeit that was partially justified since Specter was a ''tsukumogami'' and the mirror broach was tied to their existence).

** On an individual level, Tokio is associated with purple and black: he mostly wear purple and black shirts, his deck has purple and black cards and he was found by White Gesalt in the 400 Rabbits Car, which had a purple twilight.

* DwindlingParty: Horrorland Car handicaps ''everyone except Gladion'' thanks to Chiller playing them all like a fiddle. By the end of Part 1, the only members whose fates we know are certain are his, Tokio, and Specter's.

* GoodWearsWhite: London's original attire was his white Presley suit -- later into his old white wrestling gear -- while Easter sticks to a white ensemble (because their base form was Specter back when he wore white) while Specter keeps a pair of white pants on him and has silver-white hair. Meanwhile Lampetia is a pure white marble statue.

* SpellMyNameWithAThe: The group's name can be read as either White Gestalt or ''The'' White Gestalt.

* {{Irony}}: Despite London being the most cuckoo out there, having a gimmick of a stoner that combines Aztec mythos with ''Alice in Wonderland'', he's actually the most level-headed out of the White Gestalt, pointing out that Gladion is delusional with his quests and calmly telling Specter that for as much as he likes how Specter has feelings for him, there's no way they can have anything past close friends.

* LastNameBasis: He's usually called by his last name to keep with the "Gestalt" name and to not be confused with ''another'' Paul currently on the Train. It's also common place for commentators to call wrestlers by their last names (if they have any).

* NoodleIncident: If Aerostar is right, he tells Rey that some film director tried to hire London to play the role of Music/ElvisPresley as a kung-fu expert.[[note]]Paul London actually did star in a short film that did exactly that[[/note]]

* ForgottenFallenFriend: DownplayedTrope, as Tokio isn't ''dead''. However, by the time the present day comes and Tokio returns to the train alongside the rest of White Gestalt, he's effectively been [[UnPerson erased]] from Goh's mind, with the boy having come to develop a brand new obssession over ''Chloe'' instead, with Tokio barely crossing his mind once or twice afterwards. Moreover, because Goh never thought to talk about Tokio to Chloe, he never gets any sense of moving forward with his life, meaning that most of Goh's problems with friendship could've been solved much sooner.

** Despite Tokio being the basis of Goh's angst, Goh actually spends more time worried on ''Chloe''. As of Act 2, Goh's only had two talks with the boy. Moreover, Goh searched for Chloe for three days straight when she disappeared. For Tokio? He did ''nothing'' but try to push the boy out of his mind.
