* ArcherArchetype: Well, he is Myth/RobinHood. This status gives him a feared and mysterious aura within the lore of the game.

* DropTheHammer: John crafted a custom hammer for his fight against the State, and it’s one that players can customise themselves.

* WeaponOfChoice: The longbow - in fact, besides some arrows for close combat, Robin can't use anything else.

* SelfMadeOrphan: Roundabout example -- John didn't personally kill his parents, but one of his creations did. This is what motivated him to turn against the State.

* ArchEnemy: The few plot tidbits we have indicate he's this to the entirety of Hood's outlaws. trope in that .

Added DiffLines:

* JackOfAllStats: The most middle range character of all the playable ones. Aside from an inability to shoot he doesn't have true weaknesses and has at least one bonus for each facet of play. Melee wise he doesn't have the penalties of Hood and Marianne even if he isn't the full on slugger John is, stealth wise he moves at a decent pace and his special can highlight enemies to make stealth gameplay easier, and as a melee he moves and turns the crank faster when extracting the chest.

!! Eidaa (a.k.a The Sellsword)

An esteemed member of the elite Emiri guard, the Sellsword arrived from the east to take revenge upon the State that attacked her lands. During her hunt for the giant man who murdered her beloved lord, she found common cause with a band of outlaws led by the enigmatic Hood.

The Sellsword was the first DLC character added, and the first outlaw released as part of Season 1.

----
* CanonForeigner: Rather than be based on a figure from the original outlaws, Eidaa is inspired by the contemporary idea of adding a TokenMinority Merry Men character in the form of a Moorish or Saracen outlaw who's came to England for whatever reason.
* DamagerHealerTank: A Damager, as while they utilise melee attacks similar to Little John, they're not nearly as durable.
* FantasyCounterpartCulture: As the game's world utilises a 'fantasy' version of England that's never outright referred to as such, Eidaa is instead merely said to be an "Emiri guard". Whatever that is, she seems to be from the Middle East, and her attire and cosmetics take inspiration from various Middle Eastern cultures.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: They're a TokenMinority Moorish/Saracen outlaw, similar to as Nazir, Azeem, Djaq, and John himself. As Robin Hood's public domain status means very few Robin Hood adaptations are produced by the same studios, and subsequently any original character is copyright to them, they're unable to appear in later, unrelated works. Ergo, Eidaa is a substitute for this now firmly-established but unable-to-use archetype.
* TwoferTokenMinority: A woman who's AmbiguouslyBrown and from Eastern-Asian-inspired country.
