* HorribleJudgeOfCharacter: Despite her perfect image, she has one major flaw those around her don't notice: she has horrible taste in men. While Doug admittedly was good at hiding his true nature, she fails to ignore the huge red flag in how okay he was in letting her drop out of school to marry him after knowing him for ''three week''. She also falls for one of Che in "Jungle Movie" even after knowing he's working for LaSombra. Justified as she seeks any sense of freedom from her perfect upbringing and was so sheltered she never developed such a skill.

* LiteralMinded: Oskar in “Summer of Love” finds an ad for metal-detecting valuables for the beach, and thanks to a man saying for $9.99 (to get the metal detector), everything he finds is his. Oskar took it to mean that anything the metal detector grabs is his to keep, and he ends up committing oblivious theft.

* NeverLearnedToRead: It's eventually revealed that he's illiterate (at least when it comes to English). Arnold volunteers to teach him how to read and later episodes have shown him to make it a habit to read things of importance to him out loud. Of course, ever since he learned to read, he’s bound to take anything he reads far too literally.

** Full circle in ''The Jungle Movie''. While still a bit cold towards Helga, he not only doesn't hesitate to [[spoiler:fly to San Lorenzo with Miriam, Phil and Gertie to help save the kids from Lasombra]] but calls Phil and Gertie by their real names instead of a pejorative. Though he does sarcastically ask "you're still alive?".
