* BadassCape: Partially; her Mog form as a BonusBoss has an impressive cape based off her jacket in human form, but she's never shown wearing it in her Mog form outside of those battles.

* DishingOutDirt: Earth affinity, and fond of mining, to the point where the gnomes in Chumburg kicked her out of Solburg tunnel for mining too much ore.

* ImprobableWeaponUser: All of them have pretty odd weapons in their human forms. Ark uses an [[AnchorsAway anchor]], Nile uses a crystal ball, Tate uses giant syringes, and Avi uses an ''[[ParasolOfPain umbrella]]''.

* BadBoss: The Terror Trio fear getting punished by her if they keep failing, even if only one of them messed up, and a memory in the Hall of Exodus shows her harming them. Skip also suspects she was just using the trio as bait to make it easier to get to Nyx [[spoiler:since she was after Core pieces, and Yorshk likely didn't care about if they would survive having theirs taken or not as long as she got to catch her. * OrcusOnHisThrone: Though she's behind the actions of the other antagonists, she doesn't really do anything for most of the game, and is only seen at the very end. * BonusBoss: Of the Superboss variety, he's one of the final challenges in the game and requires a lengthy post-game sidequest to access on top of being deep within the most difficult dungeon in the game.
* CloudCuckoolander: When the party finally faces him, he reveals his tragic backstory... [[spoiler:that a plate of microwavable spaghetti exploded and he lost an eye and his two brothers. Who show up after he's beaten having been fine the whole time and also point out his eyepatch came from a gift shop and he just thought it was cool]].

* NonElemental: One of the only Mogs to not have a specific affinity.

* PlotTriggeringDeath: [[spoiler:Her death a year prior to the story led to Caesar's health destabilizing from losing his Conjurer and the subsequent chaos of Verrine trying to manage his failing health and her own instability gave Nyx the chance to escape, and led Rex and Troz to leave the Den, which broke the tenuous peace that existed during Eve's lifetime.]]

* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: Between her proclamations that her group should be referred to as the Terror Trio and continually messing up Pike's name, she seems like a bit of a blowhard, but she's genuinely got quite the reputation in story and can back it up when needed.

* BadBoss: The Terror Trio fear getting punished by her if they keep failing, even if only one of them messed up, and a memory in the Hall of Exodus shows her harming them. * TheChosenOne: She was an exceptionally rare Wuji Conjurer, which let her Pact with Yang Mogwai as well as Yin Mogwai and maintained three pacts when most Conjurers can only manage two. Her second pacted Mogwai was even a former Den General. [[spoiler:Tragically subverted, as her Wuji phase also means she lived for 200 years, many of them miserable, and cannot reincarnate as a Mogwai in the future, unlike other Conjurers.]]

* LifeDrain: One of the skills she can obtain drains the pule from an enemy and heals her.

* GoodAllAlong: [[spoiler:She was never truly an antagonist despite stealing core shards from other Mogs, just desperate to save her friend Caesar from the Queen. She agrees to try saving him another way when Klein convinces her that stealing core shards laden with negative emotions would be a worse option compared to asking for them from friends]].

* HardDrinkingPartyGirl: Used to go to a lot of parties and drink a lot, but pacting with Chip and her brother pacting with Blitz, and getting promoted at work to help support them means she's toned it down a lot, though she still enjoys her liquor.

* CantSpitItOut: By the later stages of the game and the post-game, she has a bit of a crush on Eve, but is waiting for Eve to be less busy so they can see how things go. She even gives Eve an AbortedDeclarationOfLove via text after Eve crosses the PointOfNoReturn.

* AllThereInTheManual: A Spectre clarifies that while she isn't seen with her Mog often, she's actually pacted with Ven, having bonded over fog machines of all things.

Sisters who run a gambling business in Corona Woods. Huo sets up shop early in the game, while Xiu only joins her in the post game, though their wayward brother has quit the family business and gone somewhere else.

* BigBad: The ultimate force behind Yorshk, the Terror Trio, and drives Nyx's actions.
* DemonicPossession: One of her abilities, and something she used to torment Caesar by hijacking his body out of spite, but gradually became dependent on, unable to exist without possessing someone. [[spoiler:Repeats the process on the party in various ways in two of the bad endings, but is stopped in the true ending, with Eve offering the Artificial Core to stabilize her core so she doesn't need to possess someone anymore.]]

* FurryReminder: Looking at her bed in the game's early stages mentions that she has kneaded on it.

* BrattyHalfPint: Coal is pretty bratty Mog, and young by their standards.

* FantasyCharacterClasses: The {{Pirate}}, she has good defensive stats without sacrificing offense and her Frenzy abilities offer a decent variety of skills, but she doesn't excel at anything.

* FantasyCharacterClasses: A [[CombatMedic Battle Priest]] with FragileSpeedster aspects, her Reflex abilities make her equally competent at Light-elemental attacks and healing, and she is one of the fastest party members but most of her damage skews magical and she's a little frail.

* WillfullyWeak: Unlike most Mogwai, she stays and fights in her mog form, even though human forms generally come with a power boost. [[spoiler:It's due to a lot of baggage about her failures in the past, and she eventually gets pushed hard enough to need it.]]

* PoisonousPerson: A Toxic-Affinity Mogwai.

* SoulPower: The reason Reapers are feared more than almost any other Mogwai is that they can reach into a Mogwai's core. Nyx herself uses this to steal shards from Mogs [[spoiler:in the hopes of forming an Artificial Core to save Caesar's life]].

* WakeUpCallBoss: The first fight she takes part in after [[spoiler:Pike's HeelFaceTurn]], in Cirruwa Forest, proves to be this, as she's fully capable of wiping an entire party out very quickly; repeats of this fight in several BossRush challenges post-game up the ante by removing her charging periods.

* TheNoseKnows: She's able to detect certain things by their smells, like real dogs are known to do.

* FragileSpeedster: The fastest party member and integrated into her characterization, as she's known for being agile and hasty to do everything

* OurManticoresAreSpinier: Her Mogwai species is a Manticore, although she and her father can both stand on their hind legs.

* TomboyishName: Rex is a name you'd expect a male character to have. In fact, [[spoiler:talking to Ceasar after the True Ending reveals that it's short for Rexford, which still doesn't sound very feminine]].

Troz Naberius is a young Cerberus Mogwai from the den, and Rex's personal "buddyguard", who left the Den in search of her after being attacked by a mysterious thief.

* BishonenLine: Unlike most pacted mogs, she does not take on human form until a significant plot event, but after taking it she gains a hefty boost in her combat effectiveness. She can transform back using her field ability, but loses that effectiveness in turn.
* BrokenAce: She's a competent fighter and cares deeply for Eve, but has a lot of baggage from her DarkAndTroubledPast.

* GameplayAndStoryIntegration: Unlike all other party members, she initially has no LimitBreak, due to walling herself off emotionally. Subverted after the party rescues Klein, where she runs off to find her dad and ends up sitting out the final battle because she's too nervous to fight Queen Han in his body, and double subverted in Queen Han's final form, where she reappears along with every previous party member]].

* JiveTurkey: Uses a lot of surfer/skater slang, some of it really outdated, though it's partially an affectation that she drops when the plot gets more serious. Lampshaded [[spoiler: when the party reaches her room in the Den Castle]], where it's shown she picked it up from reading crates of 200 year old magazines.

* RebelliousPrincess: She's pretty rowdy for a daughter of a king and queen. There's some supplemental info in her Wukong cards and one of her weapons being the "Crownsmasher" that indicates she is actually an anti-monarchist, but [[spoiler: because Queen Han abdicates the throne in the True Ending]], it doesn't come up in game.
