[[folder:The Ant Family]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/the_ants_profile.png]]
-->Voiced by: Misha Klein Jessica Teach, Jennifer Hansen (2000), Sarah Castelblanco (2000-2004), Kenn Navarro, Ken Pontac, Warren Graff (2003-present)

A family of ants who are Sniffles' arch-enemies. Small but surprisingly deadly.
----
* TheBadGuyWins: The Ants always succeed in murdering Sniffles.
* ABoyAGirlAndABabyFamily: The family consists of three kids (a baby, an older brother and their sister) and their single mother. As for [[DisappearedDad the dad]]? Some fans assume he died prior to the series; most likely eaten by Sniffles.
* AxCrazy: The ColdBloodedTorture they put Sniffles through (especially in "Tongue in Cheek") isn't something those who are sound of mind would do.
* {{Catchphrase}}: They only say "AAAH!! AAAH!!"
* ColdBloodedTorture: They inflict this on Sniffles whenever he tries to eat them in longer, more complex and painful ways then even Fliqpy.
* DisproportionateRetribution: Yes, Sniffles is usually trying to eat them, but the Ants take their retaliation ''far'' beyond self-defense by [[ColdBloodedTorture torturing and killing him as painfully and brutally as possible.]]
* FourLeggedInsect: They also lack antennae, except the baby ant who has one antenna on his head like a single strand of hair.
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: They do seem to care about each other.
* HeroAntagonist: Sympathetic or not, Sniffles is played as the villain against the ants as he is the main instigator of their fights (sans "Suck It Up") and the ants mainly attack out of self-defense -- albeit extremely [[DisproportionateRetribution disproportionately]].
* KarmaHoudini: The closest thing they ever got to a comeuppance was the baby ant catching Sniffles' cold at the end of "Suck It Up". However, their prehistoric ancestors were eaten by Sniffles and his ancestor.
* MamaBear: In "A Hard Act to Swallow", the mother ant attacks and goes inside Sniffles to rescue her youngest offspring, who was eaten at the beginning of the episode.
* PutOnABus: Since "Tongue in Cheek", they have made no further appearances in the show.
* {{Sadist}}: Not only do they torture Sniffles in ways that would make [[EvenEvilHasStandards even Fliqpy wince]], they seem to enjoy doing so, judging by how they always smile while torturing him.
* SatelliteCharacter: Sniffles is the only character they ever interact with.

[[folder:The Cursed Idol]]
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/the_cursed_idol.png]]
A mysterious golden object that causes death and destruction to anyone near it.
----
* ArtifactOfDeath: Just being near it will guarantee you a death.
* TheCameo: Similarly to Truffles, the Idol can be seen hidden in the background on several episodes.
* ADayInTheLimeLight: It has major roles in: "Treasure Those Idol Moments", "Hello Dolly", and "Idol Curiosity".
* DemotedToExtra: Hasn't made a starring role since "Idol Curiosity" in 2006.
* {{Expy}}: Of the [[Film/RaidersOfTheLostArk Fertility Idol]]. Its likeness is very similar to it.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: It was willing to pay for the taxi's fare in "Idol Curiosity" rather than just killing the driver.
* RealityWarper: The Idol can bend the laws of physics - whether it be body-piercing coils or sentient earthquakes - just to kill any of the main characters.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:The Demon]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/s3e1_demon.png]]
A paranormal squid-like creature that possesses Cub in the episode "Read em' and Weep"
----
* BodyHorror: And how so, it has long purple tentacles coming out of Cub's mouth with its red beak-like mouth in the middle used to feast on the dead bodies of its victims.
* DemonicPossession: Possesses Cub and later on, Lumpy.
* EldritchAbomination: It's a demon that possesses people.
* OneShotCharacter: Only appeared in "Read 'Em And Weep".
* ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill: The Demon does this to Petunia. First it [[FlayingAlive rips off the lower half of Petunia's skin]], then shoves her entire body through the drain of a sink, and if that wasn't much already it then turns on [[TurbineBlender the garbage disposal which begins to slowly shred the rest of her body]].
[[/folder]]

[[folder:The Kraken]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/s4e1_kmup5.png]]
A [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin Kraken]] that decides to ruin Giggles and Russell's romantic sea date.
----
* AxCrazy: Kills Giggles, Russell, and Cub.
* BecomingTheMask: By the end of the episode, the Kraken has fully committed to becoming Lumpy's girfliend/wife while also simultaneously pretending to be their newly adopted kid, [[DeathOfAChild Cub]]. [[AmbiguousSituation Whether this be out of to make sure no one finds out the truth about Giggles or because the Kraken genuinely fell in love with Lumpy has remained a mystery]].
* CombatTentacles: Spends the whole episode using his tentacles to kill people.
* DisproportionateRetribution: Russell accidentally lands an anchor on his face (which barely even hurted him), and uses it as an excuse to go on a murderous rampage.
* GiantSquid: A massive kraken that sleeps under the beach.
* HappilyMarried: With Lumpy, of all people. Considering how the Kraken has never killed him and Lumpy looking contently at his "wife".
* KarmaHoudini: Suffers no comeuppance for killing Giggles and stealing her identity while also murdering Russell in an act of revenge.
* NoNameGiven: Only known as The Kraken.
* OffWithHisHead: The Kraken's main form of attack. As he uses his tentacles to rip off the victims head and uses it to steal their identity.
* OneShotCharacter: Only appears in "You're Kraken Me Up".
* WouldHurtAChild: Kills Cub offscreen to act as a new baby to "complete" the Kraken (still impersonating as Giggles) and Lumpy's family.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Pod Lumpys]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/s3e6_worldofdummies3.png]]
A bunch of aliens that grew from a seed that came from outer space whom Lumpy decides to use as slaves. They resemble Lumpy and are even more idiotic than him.
----
* AccidentalMurder: They kill Sniffles, Petunia, and Cuddles and almost killed Toothy. Thinking that they're chores Lumpy wants them to be either cleaned, chopped, or fixed.
* AlienBlood: They have green blood.
* {{Doppelganger}}: To Lumpy.
* CloneArmy: They replicate to the point that the ending implies that they've taken over the world.
* TheDitz: They prove to be even more LethallyStupid that Lumpy.
* ExpendableClone: Lumpy treats them as this, as whenever a piece of their body is severed, said piece turns morphs into another pod clone, effectively multiplying them.
* MesACrowd: Near the end of the episode, there's practically hundreds of them.
* SelfDuplication: They have regenerative powers. Meaning that if one clone is chopped into pieces, both pieces would regenerate into two seperate copies.
* ServantRace: Lumpy uses them as slaves to complete his chores.
* TheSpeechless: They don't speak.
* OneShotCharacter: They only appear in "Peas in a Pod".
* WellIntentionedExtremist: They're not inherently evil. They just want to follow their master's (Lumpy) orders.

[[folder:Whistle]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/31___doggone_it_part_1_12_53_53.jpg]]
A seemingly nice and passive dog who goes rabid whenever he hears a whistling noise. Can be best described as a dog version of Flippy.
----
* AxCrazy: Only when when it hears whistleing noises.
* TheBadGuyWins: Ultimately reigns victorious over Dog Catcher Lumpy.
* BerserkButton: Whistling noises.
* CuteAndPsycho: Is playful and adorable until it gets triggered by that whistle.
* TheFakeCutie: A cute dog that's actually a murderous monster.
* KillerRabbit: [[TheCutie While he's normally adorable]], [[MoodWhiplash he brutally killed The Mole, Disco Bear, Cub, Giggles, and Lumpy]].
* MeaningfulName: ''Whistle'' turns into a savage bloodthirsty monster when he hears a '''whistle'''.
* OneShotCharacter: Only appears in "Doggone It", but he makes an appearance in one of the Break shorts though.
* StrippedToTheBone: What him and his other rabid dogs do to Lumpy.
* {{Tuckerization}}: Named after Ken Pontac's dog.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Crow]]
[[quoteright:216:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/crow_0.png]]
[[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin A small crow]], whom Lumpy develops a rivalry over.
----
* CleverCrows: Continously outsmarts Lumpy. [[TheDitz Though being smarter than Lumpy isn't that hard]].
* HarmlessVillain: Does nothing but (unawarely) annoy Lumpy throughout the episode. It's one of the few antagonists in the whole show that has never killed anyone.
* NoNameGiven: It's just known as Crow and nothing more.
* OneShotCharacter: Only appears in "Aw, Shucks!"
* {{Troll}}: Can be seen as this towards Lumpy, most notably when it briefly locks Lumpy out of his own house and then outwits him yet again by making him destroy his house in a blind rage.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Russell's Piranha]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/s3e9_russell_and_his_piranha_fish.png]]
Russell's pet piranha he presents in his school's show and tell. Extremely carnivorous and gets the taste of Tree Friend blood -- leading it to a massive feeding frenzy across the school. Also one of the few one-off antagonists Lumpy does not face.
----
* {{Fingore}}: Eats the flesh off of Flaky's fingers fast enough that she doesn't even notice at first.
* LightningBruiser: Is surprisingly fast and can quickly dispatch any Tree Friend in mere seconds.
* NoNameGiven: Russell never reveals its name in its only episode.
* OneShotCharacter: Only appears in "[[Recap/HTFSomethingFishy Something Fishy]]".
* PiranhaProblem: Able to kill Giggles and Petunia in mere seconds and has a major taste in their flesh.
* SmarterThanYouLook: It seems to be a typical piranha with limited intelligence. But it's shown to be way more cunning than any of the Tree Friends ever thought, managing to navigate throughout the school using Giggles' cup of water and the school's sewage system as well as [[HoistByHisOwnPetard turning on its owner (Russell)]].
