It says something of just how terrifying the form is when Zimmy, [[spoiler: Annie, and Paz]] are absolutely terrified of it. Annie speculates that this appearance represents something inside of Kat, or [[TranshumanAliens something she could become]].

* FlatEarthAtheist: Despite magic being somewhat common, so much as to even having a branch of science dedicated to it, Kat insists that all "magic" is really just [[MagicfromTechnology ill-understood technology]].

* PhysicalGod: [[spoiler:The steady advancement of her biomechanic experiments cause the robots to start workshipping her, and with the final culmination of the creation of the New People she's fully considered the Machine God by the Ether. The fact that the New People truly have souls solidifies her role as a divine entity on the cosmic order.]]

* CreatingLife: Her "New People" creations have actual souls of their own. Even Coyote cannot do this. Such creations are usually considered to be {{Golem}}s, capable of creativity and intelligence, but lacking anything to send into the Ether upon death.

* TemporalDuplication: [[spoiler:As a result of Loup freezing time in Gillitie Wood in Chapter 68, he also pulled a second Annie out of time and space to send back to the Court while he spoke with another Annie in the forest. So now this current timeline has two different Annies, while in another timeline Annie simply ceased to exist after she went into the forest to talk to Loup. And according to Arbiter Saslamel, neither of the Annies should exist in the current timeline. Kat later theorizes that it's because Annie should have died after she fell off the Annan Bridge two years earlier, as only the Tic-Tocs Kat has apparently sent back in time saved her.]]

* DoesNotLikeShoes: She provides the page image. Annie's always shown a fondness for going barefoot. She just prefers to get her feet dirty from time to time. Although Annie will use shoes and socks when expected to, but if given unrestricted freedom, she does away with them on the spot and will walk practically everywhere barefooted nonstop, even public places. She doesn't waste any opportunity to be barefoot, and it's implied that during the summer, Annie pretty much defaults to bare feet and stays that way until school starts up again in the fall.

* MadScientist: Increasingly becomes one over time, ignoring ethical and even basic safety constraints more and more to make progress in her projects. Paz decided to dump her over it, due to predicting that Kat is eventually going to turn herself into a TranshumanAbomination without regard for Paz's opinion on the subject.

Annie for her part finds Paz's criticism of her relationship with Kat annoying and does not apricate the veiled insinuations that she is "using" Kat.
