* ActuallyADoombot: [[spoiler:He actually is an artificial living clay construct secretly created by Shadam after the real emperor died 6000 years ago. He was to be used by Shadam in a complicated scheme to become emperor himself.]]

* CloudCuckoolander: Obviously has no realistic vision of the world and treats everything like a childish game. [[spoiler: Even when a gigantic Dragon God threatens to blow up earth if the Gorma and Dairanger keep fighting, the Emperor doesn't take the much needed ceasefire seriously, and continues his attack, thinking the Dragon won't notice it. Much like a child thinks he can do naughty stuff if his parents look the other way.]]

* ThridEye: Removable and allows him to observe things.
* TooDumbToLive: [[spoiler:Thinks keeping up a war for world domination is a good idea when Daijinryu appears and threatens to kill both sides if they don't cease fighting. Though he wises up eventually and reluctantly agrees to temporarily stand down.]]

Once Kujaku's childhood friend that got a scar in exchange for saving her life from many years ago. Thinking that Kujaku had betrayed her, she joined Gorma and trapped Kujaku in a Mirror Make-up Artist. But the Gara that the Dairangers faced is a relica of the original, who died long ago and became an angel in heaven.

A dragon god who's tasked to keep the peace across the universe. And since the battle between the Gorma and the Dairangers threatens to disrupt that peace, he comes to Earth to interfere. Unfortunately, Daijinryu has no concept of neither good nor evil, and is even willing to wipe out humanity to stop the conflict between the two factions.

* ConflictKiller: [[spoiler: His appearance briefly halts the conflict between the Dairangers and the Gorma since neither of them have any chance of stopping him, and the Emperor Gorma XV agrees to a ceasfire when he realizes that Daijinryu will kill him if the fighting doesn't end. This doesn't last thanks to Shadam's ambitions.]]
* CurbStompBattle: His first rampage on Earth ends with him interrupting a fight between Dairen'oh and Great Famous Pachinko Player. Daijinryu [[GiantFootOfStomping just steps on him]] before reducing Dairen'oh to [=RyuSeiOh=] with a single attack. Daimugen attempts to save the Dairangers, but Daijinryu nearly crushes him. [[spoiler: He only stops because Kaku cut a deal with a Gorma, and since the conflict has ceased, he leaves.]]

* TheDreaded: Daimugen, one of the most powerful allies of the Dairangers, is terrified of this creature when it appears in one of his visions. The Dairangers don't even bother trying to fight him, and when they see Great Famous Panchinko Player wrecking havoc they are desprate to kill him before their fight catches Daijinryu's attention. [[spoiler: Kaku accepting that Daijinryu can't be defeated causes him to cut a deal with the Gorma, with even the childish Gorma Emperor accepting a truce because he realized Daijinryu would destroy the Gorma if they kept fighting.]]

* EvilerThanThou: To the Gorma. Emperor Gorma expected to be able to just wait out the destruction and rule what was left of the Earth, until he realized that Daijinryu was going to kill him and the rest of the Gorma. [[spoiler: The Dairangers Shadam in the finale, Daijinryu destroys the Gorma's palace and the Earth Ground Shaking Jewel that Shadam's entire goal revolved around claiming scattered to appease Daijinryu.]]

* HeroKiller: Neither side can do anything to stop him as he's presented more akin to a force of nature than a character. The Dairangers spend the rest of the series living in fear of his inevitable return when the Gorma keep fighting.
* InvincibleVillain: Daijinryu is for all practical purposes unbeatable. His sheer size means attacking him is futitle.

* KnightOfCerebus: He's a threat that cannot be overcome by either side, which [[spoiler: leads to Kaku becoming FakeDefector that ultimately brings him into conflict with the Dairangers.]] The series even gradually starts fading out any comic relief after he appears.
* MassHypnosis: Is also one of the powers in his powerset. He easily hypnotized the population of Tokyo and forced them to jump from high buildings. Once again, just to warn humanity the war between the Dairangers and Gorma Tribe needs to stop. Now.
* TheOmnipotent: Nothing in the Dairangers’ and Gorma Tribe’s arsenal has any hope of even scratching this creature. In fact, he almost crushed the Dairangers' mecha when they tried to fight them. The only reason why this didn't happen, was because Daijinryuu stopped on its own volition. [[spoiler: In the finale we see he's so powerful that the [[ArtifactOfDoom Earth Ground Shaking Jewel]] the Dairangers' Lai-Lai Jewels will scatter to appease his wrath, showing that even their power is insignificant next to him.]]

* PetTheDog: He came to Earth to halt the battle between the Dairangers and the Gorma. [[spoiler: When Kaku forms a truce with Emperor Gorma]], Daijinryu spares the Dairangers since the war was stopped.

* TheVoiceless: Never speaks and has to have other characters explain what he wants. This makes it seem much more above both factions.

General Shadam's [[spoiler:first]] son and one of the Gorma Generals. He was killed by a falling rock [[spoiler:and resurrected by the emperor.]] He's later [[spoiler:revealed to be Kō's older twin brother.]]

Also he cuts Shadam's face with a feather while he was having a victory toast.]]
