* {{Homeschooled Kid|s}}: During his "Lord Talon" phase, it was all but stated that his mother was teaching him; this was made explicit during the story in ''Tiffany and Charlotte'' where Erwin's mother was persuaded that it would be good for him to learn next to children his own age. Sure enough, the story revolves around Erwin being forced to learn social skills in a hurry. (Since the school is an ExtranormalInstitute, his minions didn't work out as a crutch.)
