* CaptureSuperEntity: When first introduced, Pipijuras has been fitted with a mind control device by the government for use in fighting against other Titans threatening humanity. Unfortunately for them, Its fight against Gorogong breaks the device, and in the chaose caused by Gorogong it uses the opportunity to escape while it recalls its memories of why it was on Earth.

* AlienInvasion: Pipijuras arrives on earth from outer space and starts wrecking up the place.

* DeflectorShields: Pipijuras has an ability that lets him deflect incoming projectiles.

* LongRangeFighter: Pipijuras has the lowest possible strength stat and the highest possible energy stat. He can fight up close but favors mid to to long range combat.
* VillainProtagonist: He's the main character we play in his chapter and he's an evil alien bent on our destruction. Finishing his story mode even results in an unambiguous TheBadGuyWins scenario where [[spoiler:he uses a teleportation device on the Giga Core to bring Earth right into the clutches of his race, exploding open a large chunk of Earth in the process]].

* RedBlackAndEvilAllOver: Thundatross' Unit-02 skin turns its colors black and red. [[spoiler:In story mode, it's revealed that this is an EvilKnockoff created by [[BigBad Dr. Reiner.]]]]

* AmbiguousSituation: It's unknown if Gigaman is a human able to change his size or a human-shaped Titan. [[spoiler:Thundatross's Story Mode shows that his powers are at least tied to the Giga Core somehow.]]

* MechanicallyUnusualFighter: Ultraman Tiga's unique form-changing mechanic means that players must carefully manage the balance between them in order to both maximize your damage and defend yourself.

* OurGhostsAreDifferent: Rawa is technically a ghost-dragon, having been killed by Skorak, but regained physical form -- albeit in a weakened, altered state -- in order to get revenge and reclaim its stolen throne.

* LegacyCharacter: Rawa is either the offspring or reincarnation of the original Dragon King, who was slain by Skorak.

* FormerlyFit: Gigaman has put on some extra weight during retirement, though he still retains most of his speed.

* KillItThroughItsStomach: Skorak was eaten by the original Dragon King, and ripped his way out of the beast's innards to kill him.
* RemovableShell: Skorak may look like a snail, but his "shell" is actually the skull of the original Dragon King, who he killed to usurp rulership of Tarabak Island. As it's not part of his body, Skorak can remove it and use it as a projectile.

* UltramanCopy: Gigaman is an Ultraman-like hero who comes out of retirement to fight the rising Titan threat.

* BreathWeapon: Godzilla's classic Atomic Breath -- herein referred to has a Heat Ray -- is a blue torrent of nuclear plasma fired from his jaws. His supercharged Red Spiral Ray serves as his ultimate attack and replaces his regular Atomic Breath in his Burning form.

* SuperSpecialMove: Godzilla's finishing move is his Crimson Spiral Ray, a super-charged red version of his Atomic Breath.

* TheSmurfettePrinciple: Rohanna is the only female monster of the bunch.

* GaiasVengeance: As first represented in her reveal trailer, where Skorak and Thundatross tearing up a forest has her intervene to fight both, followed by subtle references through the game proper, Rohanna is essentially the physical embodiment of nature's wrath, and she reacts very poorly to all who don't respect the land around them.
