* MightyGlacier: To his credits, Hordman did go onto battlefield with his soldiers quite frequently. Whenever he did, he was usually piloting somthing heavily-armored but (relatively) slow.

* TheAce: She was said to have proved herself in many operations. In the story, she was shown to be more competent than the resident OCU colonel (Hordman), e.g., correctly realizing that the "rescue operation" on Dhaka (Mission 7) wasn't exactly the brightest idea.

* AnimalMotifs: If her wanzer is equipped with a shoulder shield, the crest on the shield will be a fox. This is quite fitting given her role as an intelligence officier, meaning that she constantly [[GuileHero needs to use her cunning]].

The coup d'etat later (unintended by Ven) caused the mass deaths of Alordeshi soldiers ''and'' civilians. Then Ven died in anguish once the OCU stopped finding him useful. Had Ash been more inclined to use force to help Alordesh, Ven was what he could easily have ended up as]].

* ShipTease: He had ''tons'' of this with [[TheChick Lira Labra]]. He was the first person outside Saribash to manage to get through to her, and was [[spoiler: as heartbroken as Saribash was when Lira seemed to have died]]. [[spoiler: They still didn't have an official relationship by the end, however]].

* TheChick: The most peaceful character in the main cast.

* LongHairIsFeminine: She had the longest hair among the female characters and at the same time was also the most [[TheChick conventionally]] [[TheHeart feminine]] one among them.

* AmbiguousDisorder: It was never explicitly stated, but the fact that Ash had never smiled since [[spoiler: he ruined the First Alordeshi Coup D'etat]] made it sound like he was suffering from depression.
