* AllLovingHero: She showed no ill will towards anyone who threatened Ylisse because of her father's actions. [[spoiler:Even after suffering TraumaInducedAmnesia, she still retains this, even towards Gangrel and Walhart.]]
* TheAtoner: Emmeryn is so dedicated to maintaining peace to make up for the unjust war her father waged against Plegia the previous generation. As a result Ylisse went through rapid disarmament and has very little military having having only the Shepherds to guard them.

As a result Ylisse went through rapid disarmament and has very little military having having only the Shepherds to guard them. Though as it turns out, destroying [[ReligionOfEvil the Grimleal]], wasn't a bad idea after all.

* SinsOfOurFathers: Is the victim of quite a bit of stigma as a result of her father waging an overzealous war with Plegia that resulted in numerous deaths on both sides, mostly at the hands of the AxCrazy Gangrel. Chrom reveals to the Avatar that she was also the target of this from the Ylisseans as well, with some going so far as to pelt her with rocks, all of this when she ''wasn't even ten''.

* {{Foil}}: To Aversa. Both are the older sister figures to characters bestowing the blood of Dragons, with Emmeryn as Chrom's sister. Both are opposites in many ways. The Plegian Aversa wears more revealing clothing, is impolite at best, and supports her father's actions, compared to Ylisse's Exalt Emmeryn, who is more clothed, is considered very kind to many, and atones for the actions of her father. Lastly, [[spoiler: while Aversa recovers her old memories in her Spotpass Paralogue, Emmeryn becomes amnesic]].

* YouDontLookLikeYou: All of them use pre-generated models in battle, with nothing but Avatar heads, hair colours, and style change to indicate who they are. They also use generic palettes (blue for yours, green for NPC and red for enemy), meaning, for example, The Black Knight will never be seen wearing a helmet or black armor.

The latter, killing the Grimleal is what her father tried unsuccessfully to do.

* EasilyForgiven: It is entirely possible for her to straight-up ''murder'' Stahl, Vaike or Kellam, or wound anyone else in the party besides Chrom and the Avatar so severely they'll never be able to fight again. If this happens, Chrom ''still'' says he trusts they'll be able to put that "little misunderstanding" behind them when talking to Flavia in the next chapter.
