* NiceHat: Wears a very large hat with a giant crescent moon on it and a wide brim that obscures his face.

* ReplacementGoldfish: The reason that she's so attached to Hyoh is because her brother, who died trying to protect her during the Orders of Aldore tournament, is also named Hyoh. [[spoiler: Sieghard, [[NotSoDifferent who also knows what it's like to miss deceased siblings]], offers to become a new one for her... and despite herself, Nagi starts to look at him like one.]]

** TheBusCameBack: After the timeskip in Season 3, they reappear early on in part of the plot [[spoiler: by Diverti to keep Ronora from running off]]. It's not exactly clear how they survived the above, but given that Mid was shown surviving the same thing, one can presume that Yego just had the Malboro spit them out, too.

Second of the Orders. A man whose entire life is a complete mystery, and a close position to the Emperor, second only to Levnato, the Alpha Star. Many can only speculate his intentions, some even saying that he's in this only so that he can kill the Emperor himself. See [[spoiler:Akstar]] for more tropes that apply to him.

* AmbidextrousSprite: He stands out for this because he's in a game that's generally good about representing FashionableAsymmetry. The lines on the left side of his armor are supposed to glow red [[spoiler:as they're meant to be {{Magitek}} augments for Future Rain's missing limbs]], but generally, the side facing the camera will be shown as glowing red outside of his boss battle sprite.
* DualWielding: Wields [[KatanasAreJustBetter two katanas]] when operating as the Beta Star.
* FallenHero: If Akstar/[[spoiler:Future Rain]]'s tale about his backstory is true, he once tried to kill the Emperor with his friends, only for them to all die.
* TheMole: [[spoiler:In two senses. He's actually Akstar, who joined the Orders so he could kill the Emperor. Future Rain sees this as a good opportunity to get closer to Quadis than Hyoh ever got when assuming his identity.]]
* PoweredArmor: [[spoiler:Future Rain uses a prosthetic left arm with Zeno's armor that makes up for his missing limbs.]]
* RedEyesTakeWarning: His helm has a pair of red lenses on them, giving Zeno this effect at all times. Similar to the rest of his PoweredArmor, it's suggested that [[spoiler: these compensate for the injury to his eye.]]

First of the Orders, a nihilistic man totally in tune with the Emperor's intentions and willing to go the full distance and far more than that to protect him. [[spoiler:This is because he is actually Vlad, [[BigBad the first Emperor]], in his most recent body, watching over Quadis and all other Emperors that came before him as they rule Paladia with an iron fist in his name.]]
