* DropTheHammer: She can naturally equip hammers and maces, and she pulls a hammer [[{{Hammerspace}} out of nowhere]] as part of her standard attack animation. Her season 2 form has her mechanical pet chocobo [[TransformingMecha transform into a gargantuan one]] [[ThisIsADrill with a drill tip]] for her to smack her foes with. This hammer is also her Super TMR.

* TransformingMecha: Her Season 2 form's LimitBreak involves her trusty Mechabo transform into a truly massive [[ThisIsADrill drill-tipped]] [[DropTheHammer hammer]] that's able to utterly decimate all of every foe's stats.

* PoweredArmor: Vanharma's armor is noted to be mechanical, as a form of enhancing his strength.

* MultiMeleeMaster: By the end of Season 4, Lasswell has effectively wielded [[KatanasAreJustBetter his Purple]] [[EmphaticWeapon Lightning]], Rain's [[{{BFS}} Crimson Saber]] (this one [[DualWield in tandem with Purple Lightning]] at that), Odin's Zantetsuken and [[spoiler:[[AncestralWeapon Yshe's Darradarljod spear]]]], and this is not even counting the fact that he can ''make blades out of [[AnIcePerson ice]]''.

* AncestralWeapon: Purple Lightning, his katana, was given to him by his adoptive father Raegen. [[spoiler:The reason he gave it to him was because his biological father, Rowen, won it from Raegen but lost his memory of the event. In his final moments, Rowen shows to have recovered his memory and asks Raegen to give the sword to Lasswell instead of him.]]

** The 7th Anniversary event has him [[spoiler:don Raegen's Darklord armor and turn into Scarlet Flame Rain when the spirit of the armor grants him the power of its previous owners so he can fight Dioxus on even grounds]].

* SignificantWardrobeShift: The party gets this in Season 2 to show how they matured between their adventures. Rain, Lasswell, Akstar, Charlotte and Physalis also get new wardrobes for their Neo Vision units, which reflects on their appearance as of Season 4.

* PowerTattoo: May have gotten one of these on his right wrist [[spoiler:after Season 2, where his Mark of Aldore is]], if his Neo Vision/Season 4 unit is of any indication.

** The trope is played with on his Neo Vision/Season 4 unit, which has [[spoiler:Hyoh]] as his Brave Shift form.

* SwissArmyWeapon: [[spoiler:His Crimson Saber after the upgrade can unfold into an even bigger {{BFS}} than it already was during his [[LimitBreak Crimson Nova]]. His Neo Vision unit has the blade further upgraded, outright converting ''into a gigantic spear'' during his Crimson Explosion.]]

* BlowYouAway: While not a strong magic user, Lasswell naturally learns Aero, Aera, and Aeroga. His Exorcising Storm combines ice and wind damage in a physical attack which hits twice, four times if dual-wielding. Neo Lasswell rewinds his elemental affinities to Wind and [[AnIcePerson Ice]], both on his normal form and his Brave Shift.

** Blue Mage Fina has become this once she got her NVA. She becomes able to triplecast her Blue Magic, gets new tricks up her sleeve such as a Light Imbue with Spirit Killer buff on a cooldown, and her Brave Shift actually happens to be a fairly competent physical fighter who can team up with Neo Rain due to the Extreme Nova chaining on her LB.

* BlowYouAway: Her Esper Unit, Four Winds Physalis, shifts her element to Wind (and [[MakingASplash Water]]) and bonds her to Tetra Sylphid, making her a very strong mage. Neo Physalis has this as her secondary element in her normal form as well.

** "A New Era of Knights", Neo Physalis' Story Event, focuses on how she became a Knight of Grandshelt after going to Lapis with Fina.

* GogglesDoSomethingUnusual: Physalis has a set of night-vision goggles she likes to carry around. While it's never stated what good it does for her, it ends up becoming her Neo Vision's STMR, giving a good amount of magic and providing Spirit Killer.

* HiddenDepths: For some reason, she's able to project a massive, well-detailed ice statue of Moog while shooting at enemies with magic-infused bullets on her Neo Vision's CG Limit Burst.

* LettingHerHairDown: Her Neo Vision unit has her long hair down in her default form, a contrast to her usual appearance where she ties it in a bun.

* MageMarksman: Her Season 2 unit is the only one that does any physical damage, with all subsequent units she got (Four Winds Physalis, Neo Physalis and Summer Sniper Physalis) being magic-oriented while still wielding guns.
* MakingASplash: Four Winds Physalis can use Water attacks with Tetra Sylphid's help. Neo Physalis can access Water-elemental attacks through her Brave Shift. Summer Sniper Physalis has this element as her main focus.

** Neo Physalis happens to carry a rather big rifle... which gets an ''even longer'' barrel she activates on her CG Limit Burst.

Rain often comments about how he'll always TakeAThirdOption when confronted with the decision between saving one or a hundred lives in order to save everyone. [[spoiler:Part of what caused Rain to just go back to the Orders and resume his main plan is how Lasswell saw the deaths he witnessed in Visectrum.]] [[spoiler:It's also shown that Fina's own HeroicSacrifice triggered him hard in Season 3.]] [[spoiler:In Levonia, after Rain gets acquainted with the world's culture, Rhus asks him what he thinks of it and Rain comments that he thinks of Levonia as a disturbing place due to how its people see their own lives as expendable. Later on, he refuses to kill Askah when the latter is prepared to [[TakingYouWithMe give his own life so that Vanharma can be stopped]].]]
