Even Warrod Sequen, one of the Four Emperors of Ishgal, admitted to Natsu and his friends that there are stronger wizards than him outside Ishgal, stating that just because he's one of the top 4 strongest in the continent, it does not mean he's the most powerful in the world.

* ArtifactName: Downplayed. Despite the expulsion of Jose Porla and Jellal and later, the defection of God Serena to Alvarez Empire, they are still called as the Ten Wizard Saints even though the four other unnamed members (two of them as replacements for Jose and Jellal) are ThGhost.

The third strongest Wizard Saint and one of the Four Emperors of Ishgal. He is an irritable old man who turns into a hulking monster when provoked.

* HulkingOut: He changes form when he gets especially tetchy.

* OurWerebeastsAreDifferent: He takes on a form similar to Elfman's Beast Soul Takeover, but is of a much higher tier.

* GoldTooth: Once he reveals his true colors, he starts sporting gold-toothed dentures [[SmugSmiler that he loves to show off]].

* AdaptationExpansion: When she's found murdered in her sleep, the anime shows her home was clearly torn apart with blade slashes. It heavily suggests that Ezel killed Belno.

* TheGhost: Four other unnamed members of the Ten Wizard Saints has yet to appear.

* AsskickingEqualsAuthority: This Council is composed by the Ten Wizard Saints, who use their unfathomable magic talent not only to kick ass, but to set an example for the rest of the magical community as well.

* AsskickingEqualsAuthority: He stands out for becoming Council chairman due to being the strongest Wizard Saint following the defection of the superior God Serena. During the Emperors' HeroicSecondWind against God Serena, it is Hyberion's [[OurVampiresAreDifferent Vampire Magic]] that noticeably gives the traitor pause and manages to restrain him the longest before he activates his Dragon Slayer Magic.

* ClippedWingAngel: Normally he'd show off his chops as one of Ishgal's best wizards in his beast form. While it helps him withstand God Serena's onslaught longer than most, he's still no match for when God Serena gets serious.

* AwesomeMcCoolname: "Wolfheim" just oozes badass, though Warrod jokes that it just sounds weird.

* AccentAdaptation: He has a light southern drawl in the English dub, giving him a touch of CorruptHick to his personality.

* NiceHat: He wears a three-pointed hat on the Council, and a big chef's hat afterward.

* NiceHat: It's a cross between a cowboy hat and a wizard's hat.

* NiceHat: His hat looks like a beanie.

* {{Magitek}}: His Super Archive takes Hibiki's Archive UpToEleven, giving him the power to pinpoint anyone anywhere in the entire continent.

* EliteFour: The Four Kings of Ishgal--Hyberion, Wolfheim, Warrod, and Jura (who was promoted after God Serena's defection)--are considered by Fairy Tail to be the strongest team on the entire continent. Unfortunately for them, they're hit with TheWorfEffect against God Serena, who is subsequently worfed by Acnologia, just to demonstrate how out of their depth the rest of the continent really is.

* TheForceIsStrongWithThisOne: The Wizard Saints have magic power so great it intimidated the likes of average mages upon encountering them. Even more so when three of the top 4 Wizard Saints are in the same room that freaked out Levy and Jura, the 5th ranked Wizard Saint who is regarded as the "Strongest Human Wizard". If two members, current or former, were to clash in a fight, it could cause a "cataclysm" as demonstrated in a fight between Makarov and Jose, and later Jellal and Jura.
* TheGhost: Four other unnamed members of the Wizard Saints has yet to appear.
* NotSoOmniscientCouncilOfBickering: Despite being known as the Ten Wizard Saints, the members don't really work together as a group and mind their own business as Hyberion remarking that they were once wandering wizards. However, they do have meetings which Jura mentioned this to Makarov that he should attend but this was never shown. Averted after Tartaros arc where the Wizard Saints reform the Magic Council as its new leaders except God Serena who defected to the Alvarez Empire and Makarov who returned to the reformed Fairy Tail.

* WorldsBestWarrior: They are this to Ishgal where they are well renowned throughout the continent for their great strength and magical power recognized by the Magic Council.

* NotSoOmniscientCouncilOfBickering: Despite being known as the Ten Wizard Saints, the members don't really work together as a group and mind their own business. However they do have meetings which Jura mentioned this to Makarov that he should attend but this was never shown. Averted after Tartaros arc where the Wizard Saints reform the Magic Council as its new leaders except God Serena defecting to the Alvarez Empire and Makarov returning to the reformed Fairy Tail.
* OneManArmy: Each Wizard Saint is capable of take on scores of average wizards with ease and defeat more powerful opponents with little effort.
