Despite this, the Riveras both living and dead still love each other deeply and will go all out to protect each other.

* CheshireCatGrin: Manny will sport one of these on occasion, notably when feeling villainous as currently displayed on the series' Nightmare Fuel page. Bonus points for being a cat-themed superhero/villain.

* AntiHero: Switch between this and AntiVillain, much like his ancestor, the first El Tigre. He ''wants'' to do good things like his father, but Manny has proven to be deceitful and mischievous like his grandfather.

He is definitely a trouble maker and is not above doing questionable things in the name of a having a fun time or having some downright nasty moments; however he will do whatever it takes to make things right in the end. Whenever he's not acting mischievously, he's actually pretty friendly and outgoing. Also, he loves his family very dearly, looks up to his heroic father, and has on at least one occasion been willing to die for Frida's safety.

* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Manny is definitely a trouble maker and is not above doing questionable things in the name of a having a fun time or having some downright nasty moments; however, usually once he sees he has gone too far, he will do whatever it takes to make things right. Also, he's had some times which he acted heroically on his own terms, and whenever he's not acting mischievously, he's actually pretty friendly and outgoing. Also he's very loyal to his family and has on at least one occasion been willing to die for Frida's safety.

* AnimalMotifs: Big cats. All of them are themed and named after a member of the big cat family.

A grandmother-mother-daughter team of bird-themed supervillains, comprised of Grandmami Aves/Lady Gobbler, Carmelita Aves/Voltura and Zoe Aves/Black Cuervo. All three had dated their respective Rivera men in the past andd didn't handle breaking up with them well.

* {{Hypocrite}}: They initially resent Manny and dont consider him worthy to be called a Rivera for disrespecting them. However they are constantly fighting each other and all look down on their first ancestor the first El Tigre. Manny later calls them out on it saying that while he's learned to respect family they need to as well.
* ThatManIsDead: Whether or not they were heroes or villains in life, they are all pretty amoral and violent in death.

* MundaneUtility: The first El Tigre demonstrates his ability extend the length of his claws, to use them as a back scratcher.

* TheResenter: They all (aside from the first El Tigre) initially despise Manny for never paying them respect on Day de los Muertos and outright try to kill him for eatting their offerings, with one of them even feeling Manny doesnt deserve to be called a Rivera for it. Though Manny does manage to gain their respect by defeating Santana and apologizing her his disrespect they still warn him never to eat their offerings again or "your butt is toast!".
