* JerkassHasAPoint: {{Jerkass}} DeanBitterman that he is, his grudge towards Manny and Frida, stemming from them cutting off his mustache while he slept, constantly getting away with their chronic tardiness to school, or the chaos those two cause in general, isn't exactly unfounded.

* TheFriendNobodyLikes: Grandpapi is typically not well liked among the other villains of Miracle City, partly because his son (and often his grandson) are the biggest thorns in their side, partly because he'll often fight against them ''with'' his family if the need arises, and partly because he just keeps beating them at things. If given the chance, the other villains are all too happy to run him out of town alongside Manny and Rodolfo.

** Manny in general is actually quite prone to this trope with many of his worse deeds stemming from genuinely good intentions that ultimately go beyond the CartoonishSupervillainy displayed by most of the other villains. Poisoning Rodolfo (his own father) in order to get him removed from coaching the soccer team when his teachings lead to unending defeats, trying to get back on Rodolfo's good side by [[TheVamp abusing Black Cuervo's feelings for him in order to get information out of her]] and getting her and her family arrested as a result, the aforementioned [[ControlFreak "El Tigre, El Jefe"]] incident, outright causing ''crime sprees'' so that his parents can fight crime together and once even letting El Oso have a free night ransacking the banks as compensence for not hooking him up with the Bear Princess, and the list goes on.

* WentCrazyWhenTheyLeft: Although it was Manny who (temporarily) ended his and Frida's friendship in "Adios. Amigos!" and both became quite down over it, Manny in particular showed warning signs of this by seeing Frida in different objects and people (although one intentionally dresses like her) as well as making a rice Frida to talk to (which freaked the nearby kids out).

** His relationships with both Zoe/Black Cuervo and Frida count too. Black Cuervo is a villain through and through, and while she's not wholly evil Frida is still very mischievous, prone to making immoral choices more so than Manny is, and was even described by Jorge to be "the diablita on Manny's shoulder."
