* {{Hypocrite}}: Arguably his biggest flaw.

*** Plus, while apologizing to Tubbo about the Manberg Festival, Techno claims that it was "pathetic of [him] to give in to the government"... while having no problems teaming up with Eret, the resident ''monarch'' of the Greater SMP.

* {{Tsundere}}: Shows shades of this after Ranboo gives him a replica of the Axe of Peace.

** During his escape from his execution, Techno canonically killed Quackity, giving him even ''more'' trauma. Months later, after locking Techno in Pandora's Vault with Sam's help, Quackity returned to visit Techno (and Dream) in the prison and almost managed to kill Techno the very same way Techno himself did it. Unfortunately, Phil managed to teleport Techno out of prison before Quackity could PayEvilUntoEvil. Although Techno was left shaken and disturbed by the endeavor, he still technically has all three of his canon lives intact, and considering Quackity's paranoid [[VillainousBreakdown breakdown]] after Techno's escape, Techno arguably came out on top in regard to this confrontation as well.

* TheKingslayer: He's killed 4 people in the SMP that had positions in power; he accidentally killed Schlatt when the latter got caught in the crossfire of Tubbo's execution, he killed Tubbo again after the boy was named president by Wilbur, and he assassinated George after Dream made him king. The latter two are not considered canon deaths, though.

As far as we know, Techno has three lives left. However, he also claimed that people normally only had one life where he came from in the "Saving Michael/Avenging Ranboo" livestream, so this is still up for debate.

* CerebusRetcon: Technoblade's [[NighInvulnerable Night Invulnerable]] status, which had often been [[PlayedForLaughs Played for laughs]] comes across as this with the reveal that people don't have multiple lives where he's from. If this is true, then it's likely he became as powerful as he is out of necessity, as one mistake could leave him dead for good, unlike most people who get at least 2 extra lives.

Techno has three lives left.

** To Eret. Both of them played a huge role in a highly traumatic event to the L'Manburgians (the [[LuredIntoATrap Final Control Room]] for Eret, and Tubbo's [[PublicExecution execution]] for Techno), but while Eret has tried to [[TheAtoner make up for her actions]], Techno has not. On top of this, Techno is [[BombThrowingAnarchists devoted to anarchy]] and holds a heavy anti-government sentiment, and is [[TheDreaded feared by many]] for a variety of reasons; Eret is the King of the Greater Dream SMP and is fairly benevolent, both as a ruler and as a person outside the royal court.

*** Plus, Techno seems to have no problems teaming up with Eret, the resident ''monarch'' of the Greater SMP.

* ImprobableAge / VagueAge: Wilbur has claimed that Techno is presumably in his late [=20s=], but has also had a [[IntergenerationalFriendship longtime established friendship]] with [[ReallySevenHundredYearsOld Philza]], and started the Antarctic Empire and [[TakeOverTheWorld took over SMP Earth]] with him before the events of the Dream SMP. It also doesn't help that whether Techno is [[MayflyDecemberFriendship mortal]] or not is a question in itself, and Techno himself apparently doesn't know how old he canonically is.

After the destruction of Manburg, Techno swore off his violent ways and [[TheHermit retreated to a snowy biome]] to go into [[RetiredBadass retirement]] alongside Philza, who became disillusioned with L'Manburg after his son Wilbur's death. However, this changed when Phil was put under house arrest and L'Manburg tried (and failed) to execute Techno himself. Out of revenge for himself and his friend, Techno renewed his conflict with L'Manburg and came out of retirement to become the nation's worst enemy. This culminated in the Doomsday War, where Techno and Phil allied with Dream to leave a smoking crater where L'Manburg once was.

Although Techno ''did'' eventually break Dream out of Pandora's Vault, the jailbreak cost Ranboo his life, motivating Techno to get his revenge on Sam for killing Ranboo, and to honour Ranboo's presumed final wish to save his adopted son Michael [[EnemyMine alongside Tubbo]].

* BloodKnight: "Blood for the Blood God" is one of their catchphrases for a ''reason'', though it's usually limited to when Techno encounters an enemy force.

* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: They're not really evil as they are very ''very'' bloodthristy, but they are very protective and care for Techno's allies and fellow faction members (especially Philza and Ranboo). When Ranboo is killed by Sam during the jailbreak, many of them [[BigNo cry out in horror]] and call for blood.

* DidntThinkThisThrough: At one point, he uses a Magma Block to get a skeleton wearing a jack-o-lantern into his underwater base so he can preserve it.[[note]]Magma Blocks pull all entities downwards when placed underwater.[[/note]] The skeleton does get sucked down to his base, but then it dies to the Magma Block.
