* ChickMagnet: It actually applies to ''both'' genders, various [=NPCs=] have been shown to be attracted to the Hero irrespective of gender. They include but are not limited to: Valencia, Mazurek, and Jack Crescent.

** Book 3's Growing Darkness Saga, Caitiff [[spoiler:[[BrainwashedAndCrazy corrupts]] the Hero's dragon and has it reign destruction over Lore.]] The Hero then spends a large portion of the Saga revisiting past allies and recruiting them to join the Hero's team (which at that point consisted of Symone, Valencia, and Ash). They allies include: Cinquefoil, Rolith, Alina, Mazurek, Rhubarb, Thyton, Kordana, Artix, the Popsprocket Gnomes, Zhoom, Warlic ([[AllPowerfulBystander who turns down the offer]]), Nythera (who Warlic sends in his place), Raven, and Aegis.

* TheChosenOne: An ancient prophecy indictates the Hero was become a Dragonlord, and will raise a legendary dragon from one of two boxes which would either save the world or destroy it.

** Averted in "The Evil Artifact", where the Hero cannot resist the pull of Cloak Scrap, which tempted the Hero with power and keeps him/her from destroying it.

** According to WordOfGod, the first permanent, consequential, evil choice is becoming a Fleshweaver. This results in the Hero consuming Aegis, certain quests being locked off, and some [=NPCs=] refusing to talk to the Hero. However, details are still in flux and these changes are not yet set in stone.

** The first major permanent evil choice you can make that drastically effects gameplay is becoming a Fleshweaver. In this form, the Hero consumes [[ManEater Aegis and will begin devouring elemental spirits]]. Consequences include certain quests being locked off and NPCs refusing to talk to the Hero. Maybe. Although all of this is a maybe at this point.

* TechniColorFire: No matter what element it has been set as, while it's a baby the flames will remain an orangey-yellow. This changes when it's in Titan form where the color flames will match that of the element chosen.

** The Hero comes very close to turning to the dark side (when under the hypnotic influence of [[TheCorrupter Kathool Atchoo]]), but manages to prevail- with some help from little Aquella, Diawe and Caran the Death-Knights.

* KarmaMeter: Averted. Unlike ''VideoGame/AdventureQuest'', which ''does'' have a KarmaMeter, and ''VideoGame/AdventureQuestWorlds'', where you can pick between "Good" and "Evil" factions, the Hero of Dragonfable is specifically Good, or at the very least Neutral.

** The Firewar has a lot of the Hero's past allies partcipating like Galanoth, Cysero, Warlic, and later Artix (after he comes back to his [[BrainwashedAndCrazy senses).

* BlueEyes: After the Hero's base class design gets a makeover in August 2015, the Hero will always have blue eyes, regardless of their other color aspects. Although their eyes may [[EyeColourChange change color]] for certain classes.
** No longer the case, as of the latest base class redesign. Still, in most classes with colored eyes, the Hero does tend to have blue ones.

** In the Black Winter War, Caitiff's actions have pushed the Hero past this and not the DespairEventHorizon as Caitiff had planned.

* CuddleBug: The Hero loves hugs, especially from cute things. When the Frost Moglins become all fluffy, the Hero wishes he could hug one of them, before [[PapaWolf Icemaster Yeti]] tells him/her to backoff.

** In the Energy Orb Saga, Sepulcher states that people were huddling in fear from the darkness, and the Hero was one of the few candles of hope remaining.

* DarkIsNotEvil: It hatched from the Black Dragon Box, and when it hatches dark shadows emerge. However the dragon turns out to be the savior of the world. Also, it's possible to use the "Elementalize Your Dragon" thing to give it elemental dark powers. This becomes especially prominent after Caitiff corrupts it into a Dragon of Doom, but once it breaks free of Caitiff's control it is still loyal to the Hero despite remaining corrupted.
