* MoralEventHorizon: An example of this being in-universe and out-universe. [[spoiler:Her betrayal towards Leah makes the hero completely disinterested in hearing her reasons or excuses. She crossed the line, they want her ''dead'', even if it's dangerously compromising their mission to find Malthael's whereabouts.]]

* BadBoss: Maghda's advice to Dark Cultists faced with your unstoppable wrath? "Then die well! Lord Belial will reward your sacrifice!"

* DirtyCoward: She rarely goes for a direct approach, instead relying on her Triune, demon summoning, tricks and illusions. The only person she killed personally was [[spoiler:Deckard Cain]], and ''that'' was only while he was weakened and immobilized by her minions. Even when you finally confront her, she spends half of the fight behind a shield, sending demon berserker thralls to fight you. The Wizard even lampshades it by saying he/she didn't think she would have the guts to face him/her in person.

%% GoodIsNotSoft* GoodIsNotSoft: He's a noble warrior, but that doesn't stop him from brutally destroying evil with the business end of El'druin.

* BerserkButton: While all angels have a good amount of pride and vanity, Imperius does ''not'' take kindly to being called a coward, as shown during his battle with Tyrael.

Added DiffLines:

* AmbiguouslyHuman: Shen's refusal to answer any question directly makes his exact nature debatable. Further more, even IF he Zei, it's unclear how much that means as he claims to have left all of this behind.

* ChivalrousPervert: She'll flirt with any man that crosses her path, and will mention in passing that she's had a few flings with Shen, but she's also a very kind and caring person.

* FigureItOutYourself: It's more or less outright stated that she doesn't reveal everything she sees. For her reason, see ButterflyOfDoom.

* FigureItOutYourself: It's more or less outright stated that she doesn't reveal everything she sees. For her reason, see ButterflyOfDoom.sees, because the one time she did the person she tried to help ended up far worse for wear, for which she blames herself.

* DirtyOldWoman: Myriam rather freely talks about her [[ReallyGetsAround extensive sexual history]] with her numerous husbands in her past, and says to your character that she'd love to jump in bed with Lyndon. She also loves to tell the PC that YouNeedToGetLaid with little subtlety, because they're far too preoccupied on saving Sanctuary.

* CasanovaWannabe: Of course, the female playable characters, Eirena and Leah reject him when he tries something. Male [=PC=]s even tells him point-blank that women don't like him as much as he thinks they do, which he shrugs off. Only Myriam shows any interest in him.

* CompleteMonster: Sure, ALL the demons in the games are evil beyond redemption being [[AlwaysChaoticEvil demons and all]], but Diablo takes the cake because he possesses characters who are not only kind and friendly, but also close friends or family members of the heroes, forcing the heroes to [[MercyKill kill their own family or friends.]] In the first game he [[WouldHurtAChild possesses the main hero's little brother]], forcing Aiden to kill his sibling, who's only a child. In the second game he possesses Aiden, forcing the hero to kill the main hero of the first game. [[spoiler: In the third game, he crosses the line by possessing his own daughter Leah and [[HellInvadesHeaven besieging Heaven in her body!]]]]
