** She is understandably upset over the prospect of sending the allies they've gathered over the Chroma Conclave arc to their deaths, but in the same episode, at Percy's insistence, she uses an innocent pixie she summoned as a guinea pig in order to test an artifact. Given that said artifact is apparently a magic siphon, and the pixie was sucked in rather than destroyed, it could have very well suffered a FateWorseThanDeath. [[note]] Percy suggested ''summoning'' Pixie. It was Keyleth who asked it to touch the black sphere, and she really should have known better, given that she was almost sucked into it herself when she tried stabbing it with a shard of residum. Percy tried to countermand this suggestion, but he doesn't speak Sylvan, so the pixie didn't understand him. [[/note]]. Being a druid adds a second level of hypocrisy to this particular action.

* InstantAwesomeJustAddDragons: [[spoiler:With ''Shapechange'', she can become adult dragons. She demonstrates this in Episode 89 once she finishes her Water Ashari trial.]]

Given that said artifact is apparently a magic siphon, and the pixie was sucked in rather than destroyed, it could have very well suffered a FateWorseThanDeath. [[note]] In the interest of providing full context; not a justifying edit, just context, that was Percy's idea, and she didn't want to do it until he insisted. [[/note]]

* {{Adorkable}}: She didn't have much opportunity to show it in the first main arc (due to the tense situations and unforgiving environment), even though her intro video describes her in such a way. The time she tried to masquerade as a dwarf still springs to mind as an example. From episode 14 onward it comes out a ''lot'' more -- consider all of her interactions with Kashaw, her attempted performance of "Be Our Guest", her confusion over the purpose of gambling, her total awe at a street magician, her initial reactions to the Feywild, her child-like joy at getting and trying out [[spoiler:the Spire of Conflux]], and her rather... "inspiring" speeches.

** She is vehemently against making a deal with the Clasp (to the point of approving of Vax completely torpedoing the deal Percy was trying to make) because the Clasp is composed of thieves and other unsavory sorts. Vax and Vex regularly steal things (which she has no problem with), and recently, Vox Machina had entered into an abandoned house with the express intent of stealing from it.

* GreenEyedMonster: She screams and storms off in a jealous rage after learning that [[spoiler:Percy and Vex'ahlia have eloped]], largely because it's something [[spoiler:She and Vax'ildan]] will never get to have.

* HypocrisyNod: Keyleth knows she's a hypocrite. She tells her party not to kill people senselessly and then accidentally kills others because she doesn't think the situation through. Her stance on certain actions, such as theft, depends on how much she likes the person committing them instead of something impartial. Her inability to live up to her own standards is part of why she has such awful self-esteem and is much harder on herself than anyone else is on her. It is one reason why she insists that she's not a hero but a terrible person who is ''definitely'' not qualified to succeed her father as leader of the Air Ashari.

* CantTakeCriticism: As hard as she often is on herself, she does not take being called out by other people (most notably the other members of Vox Machina) well, and will often either clam up or stonewall them for it.

* TheCameo: [[spoiler:In the very last scene of Campaign 2 Episode 107, Veth briefly sees her spotting and running to her mother as Vilya walks into Zephrah through a tree portal.]]

** Calls out Tiberius for needlessly murdering an enemy who gave up and attempted to flee, but not too long afterwards, incinerates a guard who gave up, attempted to flee, and then ''stopped'' fleeing in order to surrender. She, at least, [[HypocrisyNod felt remorse afterwards]].

* IntimateHaircut: [[spoiler:Receives one from Vax in Episode 81 due to most of her hair being burnt off during the battle with Raishan]].

** She absolutely ''despises'' senseless killing, but commits AccidentalMurder multiple times because she DidNotThinkThisThrough. This one is an aversion of the trope, because no one is harder on her than she herself when she commits AccidentalMurder. The incident with the child and the Dread Emperor haunted her for a long time.

* HypocriteHasAPoint
** The guard Keyleth killed worked for the Briarwoods, who did not yet know that Vox Machina was fomenting a rebellion in their city. Secrecy was needed at the time. She regretted making sure secrecy was maintained. She doesn't make a habit of killing fleeing enemies. Tiberius just wanted to try out his new weapon on a nobody mercenary in Emon.
** When the rebellion starts without Vox Machina's foreknowledge, none of the party knew what to do. All of them were flat-footed. Once they decided upon an action, and [[TheHeart Pike showed up to rally them]], then the party (Keyleth included) helped the people of Whitestone fight off another undead giant. Normally, she tries to find non-violent solutions where possible, like when she tried to talk the griffin and its humanoid caretaker out of eating cows in Emon by going to the wilds outside of Vasshelheim.
** In exchange for their help in Emon, The Clasp wanted Vox Machina's help in setting up operations in Vasselheim, the holy city which is responsible for re-starting civilization in the event of apocalypses. Percy scolds her for not being willing to make a deal and being HolierThanThou about it, but ''Vax'' wasn't keen on the deal. Being a member himself, he knows how nasty The Clasp can be. He may be a thief himself, but he so dislikes being associated with them that he ''burns off his membership tattoo''. It's understandable that Keyleth would side with her LovableRogue friend over the thieves who are strangers to her, and which her LovableRogue friend is not vouching for.
*** The abandoned house belonged to a dead person, in fact, a dragon that was pretending to be a humanoid. It was more like salvaging than stealing, and not everyone in the party was gung-ho for it.

* WarriorPrincess: Her title isn't actually "princess" but her standing in her druid society is effectively the same (she's to inherit sovereignty from her parents), and she was referred to specifically as "Princess" by one of the Fire Ashari in episode 22, presumably to hammer the point home for her party. Tiberius affectionately refers to Keyleth at times as "Your Highness" whenever he conveys respect or wants to comfort her when in times of great stress, as shown in episode 9. Despite this, she's not entirely fond of being called as such.

** She is understandably upset over the prospect of sending the allies they've gathered over the Chroma Conclave arc to their deaths, but in the same episode, she knowingly sends an innocent pixie she summoned to what is apparently AFateWorseThanDeath in order to test an artifact, despite the fact that Allura was in the room with them (and thus could have told them what it does, at least to the best of her knowledge).

** She is understandably upset over the prospect of sending the allies they've gathered over the Chroma Conclave arc to their deaths, but in the same episode, she knowingly sends an innocent pixie she summoned to its death in order to test an artifact.

** In episode 59, she picks the pretty flower (completely disregarding the warnings the group had heard about touching things in the Feywild). THis draws the attention of a nymph, which winds up (temporarily) blinding Percy.
