* FiveManBand: They all embody a traditional role, albeit with a unique twist.
** TheLeader: Ayo Jabe, who is genuinely heroic but is also HotBlooded and has ChronicHeroSyndrome, leading her to struggle with the burdens of leadership.
** TheLancer: Dermut Wurder, who displays UndyingLoyalty to Ayo instead of being the SourSupporter the Lancer often is. He is instead more timid than his outspoken leader.
** TheHeart: The friendly and cordial Irvan Wastewalker, who [[spoiler:actually carries the knowlegde of a former life and]] grows more [[BreakTheCutie bitter over the course of the adventure]].
** TheSmartGuy: Galsariad Ardyth, a drow wizards with an ImprobableAge, but instead of being a TeenGenius, he is actually quite old for a newbie wizard.
** TheBigGal: Maggie Keeneyes, who is actually a GeniusBruiser instead of a DumbMuscle.

* AnAxeToGrind: While she starts out wielding a [[DropTheHammer giant maul]], she later switches to an axe.

A newly formed adventuring party met by the players in Jigow. Depending on the exact way the adventure plays out, they may be friendly to the players, indifferent or fierce rivals. [[spoiler:They also may be TheChosenMany, as opposed to the players, depending on specific developments.]]

TheLeader of the rivals is a Water Genasi born to Orcish parents from an old Jigow family. Having recently formed an adventuring party with her childhood friend Dermot and a few new acquaintances, she is eager for adventure.
