* TheStarscream: WordOfGod has confrimed that he was this to Ramses and Shabaka.

* OverarchingVillain: He not only sabotages the team for the first half of the series, but he also proves to be obstacle when he is finally seen in the Altered Present, and actively pursues them during the Age of Sail.

* YouGottaHaveBlueHair: Her hair is dyed silver with violet streaks at the tip. Oddly enough, no suspect from the past seems to question how out of place this looks.

* YouGottaHaveBlueHair: Downplayed. She has a single golden streak in her otherwise brown hair.

* BaldOfAwesome: He's bald and is a highly skilled historian and fashionista who designs disguises for his teammates.

* CharacterDeath: [[spoiler: Bucky is murdered in Case 27 of Supernatural Investigation by demon housekeeper Edwina Pickles.]]

* {{Foil}}: To Ravi Jabari. Both are working as TheMole for an organization (Ravi for the Resistance, and Nebet/Nefertiti for the Ptolemy Dynasty), both are good at playing nice with the enemy to maintain their cover, both planned on killing Ramses XLIII at some point, and they both get called out by the team for their actions; however, that's where the similarities end. Ravi turns out to be loyal and trustworthy towards the team and Resistance, refusing to kill the pharaoh after thinking about the consequences, and showing remorse for his actions when he's called out by the team. Nefertiti, on the other hand, goes through with her plan to kill her father under the impression that her plan is foolproof, shows no remorse for anything she's done, even trying to deflect the blame in spite of knowing that the team has no trust in her, nor would they let someone else take the fall.

** Nefertiti successfully fooled an experienced team into thinking she was a [[FishOutOfTemporalWater naive slave stuck in time]] while screwing their plans behind their backs. Even [[TheProfiler Marina]] wasn't able to detect anything suspicious about her.

* ManipulativeBastard: While Ammon Bast sabotaged the timeline in order to send the Temporal Crimes Division to the Altered Present, Nefertiti faked being a FishOutOfTemporalWater and gained the teams trust so she could watch over the team and disrupt their travels through time.

* FauxAffablyEvil: Initially appears to be sweet, caring and rather naive, but once she gives up her identity, she's anything but.

* BrainwashedAndCrazy: Downplayed. [[spoiler:Case 17 hints that [[BigBad Ammon Bast]] may have riled him up on Nefertiti's orders, possibly explaining why he was determined to destroy Egypt.]]

* ManipulativeBastard: [[spoiler:Convinces Claudia Pulchra, his girlfriend, to kill her mother, who happens to be his political opponent. He rewards her with a banishment in return.]]
* SmugSnake: He's certain that he will end up winning the war against Egypt, but despite being at an advantage in strength, although his impatience and cockiness eventually leads to him failing to win.
* SoreLoser: He doesn't take Mark Antony's murder well, expecting that we would win the war, grows impatient when a ceasefire is forced, and reluctantly gives up after being tricked by Euterpe and Jack.

* AbusiveParents: He would verbally abuse his daughter, [[spoiler:Natasha Romanova. Later on, she would do the exact same thing to her own child.]]
* BrokenPedestal: As revealed in the final case of the district, [[spoiler:Marina tried to connect with her grandfather because of her rough relationship with her mother, but ends up realizing that Lev's verbal abuse had been the cause of Natasha's own abuse towards her.]]
* FieryRedhead: He is an ill-tempered redhead who makes it hard for the T.I.M.E. members to cooperate with him, which causes problems when [[spoiler:he obtains Da Vinci's notes on time travel, forcing the team to resort to stealing them from him.]]
* GenerationXerox: Natasha also grows up to be a high-ranking official as well as an abusive parent. [[spoiler:And just like Lev, Natasha is killed to provoke a war between the US and Russia.]]
* SmallRoleBigImpact: His verbal abuse of his daughter, Natasha, not only [[spoiler:caused her to become abusive towards her own daughter Marina and kickstarted the latter's distrust in government officials, but it's also heavily implied that it's the reason Natasha became power-hungry enough to join SOMBRA.]]

* PapaWolf: The plot of Medieval Asia kicks off because of him trying to rescue his kidnapped daughter, Princess Torgoljin. When it's revealed that Ammon had instigated the kidnapping, he tells him that he had endangered his daughter before [[spoiler:he kills him.]]

* FamousAncestor: Being the daughter of gedei Khan makes her one of an ancestor of Theo.

* EvilAllAlong: Nebet was never a slave from 37 BCE, but a modern princess known as Nefertiti, and had been the one responsible for causing the sabotage.

* MeaningfulName: Nefertiti is inspired by the Egyptian pharaoh of the same name. This is fitting with her being part of the Ptolemy Dynasty's royal family.

* FlowerInHerHair: She has 3 little flowers to the side of her hair.

* YourCheatingHeart: According to his wife, he would send his family out on errands while he had flings with the slaves.

* BadassGay: He is a pirate and he falls in love with Agwé, a young Voodoo apprentice. [[spoiler:However, he kills him in order to hide his sexuality which leads him to be exiled from the crew]].

* EveryoneHasStandards: She didn't have any problems with [[BadassGay Jorge's sexual life]] and just cared he was a good crewman. However she still couldn't tolerate he killed his crush in order to hide it and exiled him.

* SupremeChef: She becomes the TeamChef when they are stranded in time. She also has knowledge regarding herbs and ingredients.
* ReassignedToAntarctica: After being charged for killing her father, her mother sentences her to forced labor on a volcanic island to teach her humility.
* TheReveal: Nebet is revealed to have never been a slave from 37 BCE, but a modern princess known as Nefertiti.

* BigBad: Of ''Travel In Time'', as he's the one who sabotages the team's time machine in Ancient Rome and alters the timeline in favor of Egypt after the Altered Present. During the second half of the game, T.I.M.E. makes it their mission to chase Ammon through time to SetRightWhatOnceWentWrong.

* TakingYouWithMe: [[spoiler:Knowing she and Antony had no chance against Octavian, she slit his throat and commits suicide after she has been arrested.]]

* Expy: To Lars Douglas, with them both being the team's lab chief, are seemingly outgoing and reckless and close friends with Jack.
