* WorldOfBadass: While the planet Equus is a WorldOfBadass on its own, the Terran Empire deserves mention. The Terran Empire is ruled by a royal family that can be considered a pantheon in its own right, with even the demigod Terran Princes being celebrated leaders and warriors. Under the Terran Royal Family are the nineteen military Chapters led by the Terran Princes, with their most powerful members being the Terran equivalent of [[SuperSoldier super-soldiers]]. And under 'them'' are the various political and military figures who are part of the Terran government, many who are warriors themselves. Even those who don't seem like standard "heroes", such as [[TalkingWeapon Mercy]] and [[ShrinkingViolet Jasper]], are each shown to have great, untapped potential and have done good deeds themselves. Given how the Terran Empire was inspired by ''TabletopGame/Warhammer40000'', especially the world of Ultramar, this is unsurprising.

* PsychicPowers: The Terran Empire has a significant number of psychics (or "psykers", in Imperial terms) among its population, thanks to the influence of the Terran Empire's founder/ruler, Emperor Golden Scepter, who is an antediluvian Alicorn god of Psionics and a divine prodigy, making him one of the most powerful psychics currently in existence. As such, the Terran Empire is very advanced in many fields of psychic powers, and Terran psykers develop/hone their powers through five separate disciplines, which are Biomancy, Divination, Pyromancy, Telekinesis, and Telepathy. Those with psychic powers can be employed in many fields, such as the [[StateSec Imperial Inquisition]] and their [[MilitaryMage military]]. However, the treatment of psykers differ from their [[TabletopGame/Warhammer40000 Imperium of Man]] counterparts in that they're treated ''far'' better by society, as psykers live openly among non-psykers.

[[folder:General]]
* AdaptationalBadass: The main members of the Terran royal family, Golden Scepter and his sons, are ''much'' more badass than the Emperor of Mankind and his Primarchs -- the former because he's a bonafide ancient god in the Codexverse, and his sons are actual demigods. This also applies to other family members like Mercy, Applejack/Veritas, and Rosy Dreams, who are much more powerful and/or capable than canon or their source inspirations.
* AdaptationalHeroism: Being based on [[TabletopGame/Warhammer40000 the Emperor of Mankind and his Primarchs]], Golden Scepter and his sons are ''much'' more heroic than their character inspirations, since all of them lack the xenophobia and ruthless pragmatism. This especially applies to those of the Primarchs who turned to Chaos in canon.
* AdoptedIntoRoyalty: Both Mercy and Rosy Dreams had been adopted into the family, making them Terran Princesses by adoption. This is for good reason -- Silver Bane wanted Mercy to be protected from being used as the [[KnightTemplar Poenan Pantheon]]'s weapon in their zealous crusades against Evil, while Rosy Dreams had no other living relatives to take care of her since both her family and servants were all murdered by her birth father, [[AbusiveParents Sweet Words]]. [[spoiler:It's later revealed in a canonized Codexverse drabble, however, that Rosy Dreams is a ''very'' distant biological descendant of the Second-Age Isle of Pony's royal family -- specifically, she's related to Queen Rosy, who was part of the Second-Age incarnation of the Power Rangers and known as "the Eternal Queen"]].
* BadassFamily: Almost all members of the Terran royal family are powerful warriors and beloved heroes in their own right. Emperor Golden Scepter and his adoptive/biological children are almost either full-blooded deities or demi-deities; Queen Majesty is the only exception [[spoiler:due to having defects that left her completely mortal despite being one of Golden Scepter's descendants]], but she is regarded as the most powerful mortal mage to have ever lived. The badassery also extends to any grandchildren, relatives, and in-laws, who are often more powerful than they were compared to canon or their source inspirations. Then a Codexverse drabble reveals that Golden Scepter is a son of Profectus Equus/Iridium Signet, one of the surviving Thirteen Empyreans and one of ''the'' first Alicorns created/fostered by King Equus himself, making him a (great-)grandfather of the entire Terran Royal Family.
* CorporalPunishment: Being an old-fashioned god-autocrat he is, when the Terran Princes were young Golden Scepter would break out the '[[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/904477912/4987593654 Golden Paddle of Disciplinary Action]]' for if they become too unruly and troublesome. It's apparently made of '[[https://warhammer40k.fandom.com/wiki/Auramite Weapons-grade Auramite]]', which gives it its golden polish and enough hardness to make even the Terran Princes' [[OhCrap fear]] [[ThisIsGonnaSuck it]].
* DeityOfHumanOrigin: Golden Scepter and his biological sons are Ascendant deities, though it isn't clear how Golden Scepter himself Ascended due to said incident [[TimeAbyss having had occurred a very long time ago]]. This also applies to his daughter-in-law Princess Applejack V/Veritas, Princess Regina, and his biological "grandson" Hopeful Moon (though he Ascended by virtue of being in Bright Eyes' [[MentalWorld dream world]] and thus a part of him). The only exceptions are Mercy, Rosy Dreams, Gliding Butterfly, Baby Applejack (who was born SemiDivine), and [[spoiler:Kúzelník, who was born a full-fledged deity]].
* PoweredArmor: Implied. If their entries are to go by, both Golden Scepter and his sons have their own suit of magical powered armor, which increases their physical capabilities tenfold and makes them much more powerful than they naturally are as full divines and demi-divines.
* PsychicPowers: Almost all members of the Terran royal family has this to some degree. Golden Scepter is the Alicorn god of ''Psionics'', and his nineteen sons have inherited some facet of his power, usually telepathy/empathy, though precognition has popped up among them. Crimson Star is notable as he embodies both Psionics and (supposedly) his father's psychic powers, making him the strongest psychic out of his brothers. Mercy has telepathic and telekinetic abilities due to being used as a SpellBlade by her first wielder, Silver Bane, for years, and Rosy Dreams is developing talents in telepathic DreamWeaver abilities.
* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: All members of the Terran royal family, save for the youngest children, are badass and competent royals. Golden Scepter is one of the most powerful and ancient Alicorn gods known to the public, and is a "[[TheAce prodigy deity]]" who is essentially a LivingLegend due to the extremely long list under his belt. His nineteen sons don't fall far from the tree, with all of them being benevolent political and military leaders as well as great heroes. Applejack of the Equestrian 'Mane Six' group would later become a Terran Princess after marrying Prince Clear Voice and Ascending to demi-godhood, and due to her honest, hardworking, and dutiful character, she became a go-to for weeding out corruption within the Terran Empire. Even [[TalkingWeapon Mercy]], a sentient divine sword that was adopted by Prince Red Blade as his daughter, is a respected and celebrated hero for helping her adoptive father take down tyrannical kingdoms and realms, despite her childlike nature.
* StopWorshippingMe: Enforced. Both Golden Scepter and his sons have a low opinion on religion in general, as it tends to create BlindObedience and leaves people [[NeverMyFault unable to personally take responsibility for their actions]]. So while they're very tolerant of other faiths, public religious worship of them is banned by law. The only exception was Written Word, who genuinely believed that religion can help people and preached to them his father's values. Eventually though, he came around when Golden Scepter learned of his activities and gently explained to him what he was really doing, kicking off a series of events that led to Written Word discovering the true value of Faith and Ascending to demi-godhood.
* SupernaturalElite: The Terran Empire's royal family consists of divines and demi-divines -- Golden Scepter, a surviving antediluvian Alicorn god, is a literal PhysicalGod, the highest living form of authority in his empire. Meanwhile, his nineteen sons are demi-divine Alicorn Princes who are military commanders, political leaders, and powerful warriors in their own right. Mercy, a childlike, sentient divine sword adopted by Prince Red Blade as his "daughter", also counts, as her adoption would make her a Terran Princess and a member of Golden Scepter's family by default.
* SuperpowerfulGenetics: Justified. Because Golden Scepter is an extremely ancient and powerful Alicorn god, all of his nineteen sons are incredibly powerful individually and became even more so after Ascending to demi-godhood, with their portfolios being based on what aspect of their father they supposedly represent, more or less. This is due to the fact that in the Codexverse, whenever divines have children in general, the child(ren) would end up embodying some aspect of the parent(s). This also applies to any children the Terran Princes would sire -- Princess Applejack VI, Applejack V's firstborn daughter through Prince Clear Voice, has massive potential due to being Golden Scepter's biological granddaughter.
* WingedUnicorn: Save for Mercy (a sapient sword), Gliding Butterfly (a mutant Griffon), Rosy Dreams (an Earthpony filly), Solar Shield (a Solarian colt) and [[spoiler:Kúzelník (a Deer god)]], almost all biological/adoptive members of the Terran Royal Family are Alicorns.

* PointOfDivergence: Beren's entry notes that if he hadn't saved her from Pristine Mind's bullying, she would've either [[DrivenToSuicide killed herself]] to escape her torment or gone on a RoaringRampageOfRevenge against her bullies. So while Jasper's intervention ended up exposing Beren's secret worship of Crimson Star, it also allowed her to get the help and protection she needed from Crimson Star himself, who would help her with her studies and defend her on her behalf.

* AdaptationalHeroism: The Word Bearers in ''TabletopGame/Warhammer40000'' went traitor when Primarch Lorgar suffered an extreme CrisisOfFaith thanks to the Emperor of Mankind burning Monarchia to the ground and forcing him to kneel to him in its ashes, and started worshiping Chaos. Here, the Word Bearers are based on the Word Bearers from ''Fanfic/TheRoboutianHeresy'' in that they are a loyalist faction dedicated to purging corrupt religions, cults, and similar factions.
