Following the defeat of their first leader, [[BigBad Phantom Blaster Overlord]], the Shadow Paladins formed a truce with the Royal Paladins. However, they were temporarily disbanded when their new leader- Blaster Dark- was sealed away by a mysterious force seeking to conquer Cray. A new order of Paladins founded after the dissolution of the Royal Paladin and Shadow Paladin clans during the War of Liberation. Their original purpose was to restore the two Paladin clans to their former glory by [[SealedGoodInACan freeing their leaders from a mysterious seal]].
After they successfully free the sealed leaders, the Gold Paladins are formally recognised by Alfred, who gives them the title of "Liberator" and integrates them into the second standing army of the United Sanctuary. Joined by many heroes from Royal Paladin, the creed of the "Liberators" is to protect the liberty of people across the world and free them from the clutches of evil.
In terms of playstyle, the Gold Paladins continue the swarming and support tactics of their predecessors, but prefer random Superior Calls from the top of the deck and skills that activate when a unit is called from the deck.

A new order of Paladins founded after the dissolution of the Royal Paladin and Shadow Paladin clans during the War of Liberation. Their original purpose was to restore the two Paladin clans to their former glory by [[SealedGoodInACan freeing their leaders from a mysterious seal]].
After they successfully free the sealed leaders, the Gold Paladins are formally recognised by Alfred, who gives them the title of "Liberator" and integrates them into the second standing army of the United Sanctuary. Joined by many heroes from Royal Paladin, the creed of the "Liberators" is to protect the liberty of people across the world and free them from the clutches of evil.
In terms of playstyle, the Gold Paladins continue the swarming and support tactics of their predecessors, but prefer random Superior Calls from the top of the deck and skills that activate when a unit is called from the deck.
