In Episode 6 of the animation though, the moment negotiations broke down and in the first ''seconds'' of battle, she engages Shiroko--second only to Hoshino in combat skill--in a GunFu duel, disarming Shiroko briefly with [[ShortRangeLongRangeWeapon a single swing of her rifle stock]], then nearly headshots Shiroko were it not for her blocking with her rifle in time; then Iori immediately backflips away from Nonomi's shots and leaps in with a staggering kick on the minigun before shooting her down; before Serika could even fire a shot, [[FlashStep Iori is already in her blind spot in milliseconds]] and knocks the air out of Serika with her rifle; and finally she merely dodges Ayane's two shots and kicks her handgun out of her hands. And even during the part where she Haruka guns her down with her shotgun in the game, animation Iori [[SuperReflexes immediately dodges the first shot]], backing away until she got downed by a preplaced surprise bomb

* FunnyAfro: Her otherwise-straight hair turns into one whenever she gets blown up, whether it's from her EX skill or [[spoiler:the aftermath of Arius destroying the Society's zeppelin]].

* AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther: For the most part, Iori is pretty cold towards the foot-licking pervert known as Sensei, though the latter is nice regardless towards the former, [[{{Tsundere}} who doesn't quite reciprocate it all the time]]. A definite example of Iori having more favor for Sensei than she shows happens in ''Trip-Trap-Train'', in which she finds them beside top criminal Kasumi but, though acerbic as ever, still trusts them to have her back. So when she finds that Sensei isn't going to act for her [[spoiler:since Kasumi is holding the Trinity relic hostage]], she becomes not just quiet, but sincerely upset about it, which is a rare show of her more tender emotions.

She is in charge of medical aid of Gehenna Academy's Prefect Team.

* DefeatMeansFriendship: Despite the Foreclosure Task Force having been targets for 68 in [=V1C1=], their losses and later interactions with each other eventually lead into genuine friendship that they turn on their contractor, the Kaiser PMC Director, which was an easy decision since he was being a BadBoss to them.

* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: Part of the reason she and Problem Solver are so willing to turn on Kaiser to help Sensei is because the latter has been nothing but kind and helpful to the group, while the PMC Director... hasn't. Aru even states that Sensei has treated them far better than the director ever did.

* EvenEvilHasStandards: When Aru learns the so called meeting between very important groups of Kivotos is actually a Pyramid scheme disguised as seminar, Aru is so angry of being tricked that she attacks the host and trashes the seminar.

* AlmightyJanitor: Aru is the boss, Mutsuki is chief of staff, and Kayoko is department head. What is Haruka's title? ''Entry-Level Employee.'', despite being a senior member. That doesn't stop her from being any less dangerous than her superiors though.

* DemolitionsExpert: Apparently has a role in planting explosives as part of Problem Solver 68's operations. Her first bond story involves Sensei discovering her planting bombs as part of a contract.

* ArmorPiercingAttack: Her original version's EX Skill, "Piercing Elegance", has her take aim and fire a single piercing shot that damages enemies in straight line[[note]]though the damage decreases by 10% with every enemy hit[[/note]].

* AintTooProudToBeg: In ''Trip-Trap-Train'', when she realizes Hina oversees the special cells today, that's the first time her composure breaks as she begs Iori to catch her another day. It brings Sensei and Kasumi no small amount of satisfaction after getting pushed around by her.
