Added DiffLines:

* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Despite her cold demeanor towards everyone, she genuinely cares about her friends and is willing to protect them.

Added DiffLines:

* {{Tsundere}}: She was initially cold and hostile towards Ichigo and his friends, but after receiving their kindness and their protection, she begins to warm up to them, albeit with an attitude from time to time.

Added DiffLines:

* TheBadGuyWins: Ends up getting away with [[spoiler: fusing Nozomi with him to form as Yushima. However, he eventually gets defeated and killed, but not with his killer, Nozomi, who ironically committed suicide due to sharing the same body and her desire to stop him]].

Added DiffLines:

* FauxAffablyEvil: Talks in a polite manner, yet has no genuine respect for anyone.

Added DiffLines:

* HateSink: Is a monster who not only created a lot of Reigais of the Captains and Lieutenants that hindered their ability to stop him, but is also willing to hurt a child to get what he wants. He is so wicked that he makes Mayuri look like an honorable fighter and a lot nicer than him. Somewhat justified considering the fact that he represents the "Yang" of [[spoiler: his and Nozomi's creator]].

Added DiffLines:

* {{Jerkass}}: Treats his minions like crap and looks down on other people.
** JerkWithAHeartOfJerk: Ostensibly cared for Nozomi after the latter risked her life to block the attack that would consume the 13 Court Guard Squads. However, this is because in actuality, [[spoiler: he needs her to complete the fusion of their former master]].

Added DiffLines:

* GreaterScopeVillain: [[spoiler: Due to having split his soul into that of Kageroza and Nozomi, this is the reason why Kageroza serves as the main antagonist of the arc.]]

Added DiffLines:

* WouldHurtAChild: Has no qualms of hitting Nozomi nor using her for their [[spoiler: fusion into their former master]].

* {{Foil}}: Kouga serves as a one to Rukia Kuchiki. Similar to Rukia, Kouga is a member of the Kuchiki clan by marriage (although Byakuya outright sought Rukia to adopt her into the clan). Both of them served as Soul Reapers in the Gotei 13, and both desperately sought the approval of the head of the Kuchiki clan: Ginrei for Kouga, Byakuya for Rukia. However, that all comes crashing down when both are accused of a grevious crime against Soul Society, and the disgrace it brings to the Kuchiki family - one of the Four Great Noble Houses. While Rukia accepts her punishment to the point of facing death with dignity, and even then - the crime is revealed to be a setup, clearing her name and returning her to serve as a Soul Reaper, and finally gaining Byakuya's approval; Kouga instead lashed out and killed those who framed him, and when he is informed by Ginrei that he has destroyed any chance of getting justice with his impulsive act of revenge, he rebels against Soul Society. Yamamoto and Ginrei are forced to seal him away, and erase his very name from history - while Rukia is fully accepted in the Kuchiki clan, Kouga is its greatest shame - to the point that even his name is not acknowledged by them. It also makes it easy for Byakuya to decide to kill Kouga, whereas with Rukia, he was deeply conflicted - most of all because he would be violating his promise to his late wife.

* SmugSnake: Very much thinks he's above everyone else, including Jin. Fitting, considering his Doll's ability is to ''create'' snakes.
* TheStarscream: His main goal was to usurp Jin and take over the Bounts himself. But his plans get stymied thanks to Ichigo and his friend invading their hideout early. He tries to take the opportunity to attack Jin but is quickly overwhelmed and killed by Maki.

The oldest of the Bounts, at least judging by his appearance. It's implied by Mabashi that he looks so old due to having consumed too many living souls. His Doll is Baura.
