* RunningGag: Weiss has a lot of trouble getting her partner cooperate with her battle plans. [[CloudCuckoolander Ruby]], [[TheDitz Makoto]], [[BrattyHalfPint Luna]], and [[AxCrazy obviously Nu-13]] have trouble following directions and irritate Weiss by running off into fights at random.

* TechnicianVersusPerformer: The Performer to Akihiko's Technician. Compared to him, Yang's lacking in the agility and skill department, but her moves are more dynamic, and she prefers putting sheer power behind her fists instead.

* BoobsOfSteel: She's no slouch in battle, and both her character artwork and the opening show her being noticeably more stacked than in her home series. Subverted for her battle sprite, however.

* BoobsOfSteel: One of the more powerful members of her team, and yes, she is quite stacked. It's even more noticeable in this game thanks to the AdaptationalCurves treatment she's been given in her character artwork.

* {{Otaku}}: Concerning weaponry. It may be played up here more than in her own series, since she is [[{{Fangirl}} fangirling]] over Ragna's Aramasa in their team intro (to the point where he has to physically hold her back), and in her intro with Es, she says she is more interested in Es's Murakumo than '''the Azure''' (you know, the source of ultimate power that can grant any wish and change the entire world however one desires). However, since she's from another world, she most likely doesn't know what the latter even is.

* AdaptationalCurves: Yang's always been busty, but her character artwork for this game has her near GagBoobs size. Each one is around the size of her head! Subverted in her battle sprite, however; while she's still busty, her proportions aren't as exaggerated.

* {{Gainaxing}}: Has a pretty visible bounce in her sprite animations.
