To her credit, [[GenreSavvy she is painfully aware of this trope]], and tries to avoid it while still being a useful friend to the Mice.

* AmbiguouslyHuman: He may appear to be your standard human thug at first glance, but "Once Upon a Time on Mars" reveals that the first time Limburger hired him was on Mars, which suggests that he may be a humanoid alien.

* AmbiguouslyHuman: He doesn't look any different from a normal human being other than his large head and the black tube connected to it, but she's shown on Mars with Limburger and another Plutarkian named Dominic T. Stilton in the flashbacks of "Once Upon a Time on Mars". This is lampshaded in the 2006 episode "Once Upon a Time on Earth" when Dr. Catorkian asks Karbunkle if he is human and he replies with "Of course I am....I think."

Carbine is the new leader of the Freedom Fighters, a former Army General. Unlike Stoker, she prefers a set of rules and disciplines, instead of the camraderie and mild chaos of Stoker's FF. Despite this, she is still a very competent leader, although her desire to stay on Mars has driven a wedge between her and her boyfriend Throttle. She nearly had him executed after he returned to Mars just after the Plutarkians seeded a tape of him and his bros supposedly aiding them in destroying Chicago, but they managed to hash it out before the Biker Mice were thrown into the Pit of Everlasting Doom (otherwise known as Spiky Pit of Spikes). She may come as a bit touchy at times, but in reality it's a harsh case of [[TheWomanWearingTheQueenlyMask a woman who puts the survival of her planet and species above all else.]]

* TheWomanWearingTheQueenlyMask: She comes across as harsh and mean, but it's due to deciding that the survival of her species and home is more important than anything else in the universe.
