* '''ZeroPercentApprovalRating:''' WOW. This is effectively the most polarizing and villainous cast since Season 15, if the ''miles'' of explanation and sheer frequency of this trope appearing doesn't tell you right away. In short, all the nice houseguests were evicted before Jury, the last of which was Ramses. Talking about the remaining houseguests is basically like playing with nitro in a can.
There were so many unlikeable and detestable houseguests this season that there were hardly any popular houseguests or clear favorites. There was something dislikable about almost every single houseguest from twelfth place on up, and Megan, the one who self-evicted. Paul, who was originally a fan favorite on Big Brother 18, had become incredibly disliked and hated this season due to being TheBully and playing a very scheming, lying, and manipulative game. Ironically, Paul's decline in popularity seemed to have mirrored Nicole Franzel's in Big Big Brother 18. Nicole was very liked on her original season (which was the biggest reason why she was brought back to play the game as a veteran on that season to begin with) but when she became a veteran, she let the power and status of being an experienced veteran get to her head and it made her conduct a FaceHeelTurn. Paul and Nicole are very similar to each other in this regard in that they were brought back by popular demand, became veterans and lost their hero statuses because they became DrunkWithPower and played a dirtier game than on their original seasons. Paul's popularity unfortunately never recovered and he even received some backlash and some hate on his social media once the game was over. Alex was also someone who started off popular and was a fan favorite amongst the audience. However, once she became TheCorruptible and TheDragon to Paul and did a FaceHeelTurn, she revealed how unlikeable and nasty she really was. Alex was also a bully who constantly talked trash about the other houseguests and used to constantly pick on Kevin unnecessarily. This contributed to the fans turning against her which resulted in her popularity plummeting immensely. Before the season was over, Alex went from being in the Top 5 most popular houseguests of the season to being in the Bottom 5 of the least popular houseguests. She was at the bottom of nearly all of the Big Brother 19 houseguest popularity polls or ratings, including Jokers Updates Ratings. Christmas, like Alex, also started out as popular, but lost her likability and popularity when she became aligned with Paul. Once Christmas showed UndyingLoyalty to Paul and became TheDragon for him, the fans turned on her like they did Alex. And since then, her dedication to Paul has not done Christmas any favors with the audience liking her. She even adopted Paul's bullying tactics and manipulative ways in the game, something that made the fans incredibly uncomfortable. Raven is probably the most hated houseguest of the season by far and it's not even close. Raven was ALWAYS at the bottom of all of the popularity polls and ratings, most commonly Jokers Updates Ratings. Much of it has to do with the fact that Raven was a ConsummateLiar who came across as intensely delusional and constantly embellished stories about her real life no matter how silly or unrealistic they came across. They also hated her because they felt that she was extremely emotionally unstable and she hid a very violent and angry personality underneath a fake SouthernBelle facade. It didn't help that she constantly played the victim by exploiting her illness (Gastroparesis) at every turn in order to gain sympathy from her fellow houseguests so that she can manipulate them to keep her in the game. Cody was also incredibly loathed at the start of the season. However, he started to gain some favour and popularity later on. But the only reason why they felt sorry for Cody wasn't because they liked him (he was incredibly unlikeable!), but because ''everyone else was so much more worse than him!'' At the end of the season, Cody ended up winning America's Favorite Houseguest, but it's evident that unlike previous America's Favourite Houseguest winners that Cody didn't win because he's so popular, charismatic and likeable. He only won it because the fans wanted to strike against Paul by proving a statement that he was disliked all season and because the other houseguests were simply so detestable that they felt that nobody else was worth voting for to give the prize to. This is probably one of the most unlikeable casts next to Big Brother 15.

** Matt got balked at for being ineffective during the season and a disappointment, as well as his annoying laugh, his obnoxious behavior, and being Raven's showmance partner. But more so than anything else, Matt was dragged for his petulant screw-the-show style behavior prior to his eviction, which flew in the face of the spirit of the show.
** Jason made people made with his joke about banging Kevin's wife in front of all their daughters.
** Mark got in trouble for defending Cody and lashing out at Josh.
** Josh is kinda stuck in the middle. Either you love him or you can't stand him.
** Jessica was disliked for being excessively bitchy, Cody's showmance partner, bullying Josh along with him, and taking to Twitter and beginning a tweet storm of her ranting and being a SoreLoser in general... but then subsequently cooled off and became much more likable.
** Megan was just plain annoying to most houseguests and a thorn in people's side.
** Kevin was adored outside of the house, but unfortunately left among a sea of snakes who started biting in Week 7.
** Elena... Let's not even get started with her. She's the reincarnation of BB 15's bigotry AND THEN SOME. In some ways, she actually far surpasses ''even Raven'' on the Richter scale of fandom fury, because the fans found her Twitter is one great big junk heap of rotten, naïve things to say.

* {{Jerkass}}: Cody and Jessica definitely were not the nicest houseguests on the playground. They were unfriendly and unsociable towards the other houseguests. When they were in power the very first week, they ended up abusing their power and personally attacking and bullying other houseguests to do what they wanted. In addition to that, they proved to be both dishonest and disloyal to their own alliance as Cody was responsible for turning on his alliance by trying to get rid of his fellow alliance member Paul. Their unkind behavior ended up costing them the game big time as they became everyone's number one target.

* AlasPoorVillain: Oh DEAR. They weren't the most likeable people on the outside of the house, but did people inside of the house feel sorry for sending the both of them home. Pretty much the entire house felt sorry that they were going to blindside Jason and send him home. Josh felt so incredibly guilty about sending Jason home that he almost had an emotional breakdown due to having to lie to him constantly about whether or not he was going home. Paul, who was the one that orchestrated Jason's demise, felt bad that he had to send home one of his strongest allies and closest friends in the game. But Paul insisted that he had to send Jason home so that he could make it to the end again because Jason is such a strong competitor and player. And Christmas felt so bad about sending Jason home that when she had to cast the tie breaker vote to evict him, she was in tears and could barely talk. A similar fate awaited Alex later on. Josh, Christmas and Paul were especially affected the most emotionally by sending Alex home. Josh and Paul were so upset that they were sending her out the door that they both cried about her impending eviction. Josh even tried to talk to Alex to tell her the truth about her fate but he couldn't keep it together emotionally because he felt so bad about hurting her. And Paul ended up bawling after having a discussion with her about him choosing to not use the POV on her and that she would be the one ending up going home. After the conversation, he went to Christmas and Josh and ended up bawling tears. The audience may not have felt bad for their demise in the game (in particular Alex), but in the house, there were definitely some guilty feelings about putting them out of the game.

* TheDragon: For Paul BIG TIME. They were the biggest Paul followers in the entire house. All that they contributed to the game was being loyal to Paul, follow this order and doing all of his dirty work by doing everything that Paul wanted them to do. So much that when they were betrayed by Paul and Paul decided that they were expendable to him, they didn't even see it coming. Jason and Alex didn't seem to have any brain of their own. Paul was their brain in the game.

* ActionSurvivor: The majority of the house were not the strongest competitors and actually got by in the game by clinging to Paul and depending on him and his strong strategic gameplay to try to make it as far to the end as possible. There were some houseguests that didn't just sit back and let Paul take all the control and pulled their weight competitively, such as Mark, Cody, Alex, Jason, Christmas and Josh. However, even though they did manage to pull their weight on a competitive level, they were only winning competitions for Paul so that he could dictate to them who they should target and take out on their own HOH reigns.

And when trying to win competitions in general, Alex would be the most difficult person to convince to throw them, Josh tended to win anything that didn't require endurance, such as the sports challenges and even a couple of brain games, and once he applied himself, Mark was very difficult to keep up with at POV competitions until his big size was used against him in the one that decided his fate once he lost it. Jessica also had a surprisingly decent showing in challenges whenever she fought for her life in the house.

But they were also very good at hiding their villainous intentions and the fact that they were stabbing every single houseguest in the back with a very sharp knife. It's why everyone was so surprised when they found out that Paul, Josh and Christmas were even a Final 3 alliance because nobody saw it coming due to how friendly, affable and sociable they had all come across.

* CombatDiplomacyStealth: Josh is Combat (often uses forces and aggression to scare off the enemy), Paul is Diplomacy (often uses his strong social skills and charisma to convince others to do what he wants), and Christmas is Stealth (plays the game in a very subtle way without giving away too much information to others).

However, the very first half of the game doesn't involve anyone turning on each other....that is until Paul decides that the weeks are dwindling down and more and more people need to be evicted so that he and his alliance can make it farther to the end.

Added DiffLines:

* BadassInCharge: They erred pretty much the ones in control of the game for the entire time, mostly because the alliance had Paul, who was the puppet master dictating and controlling the entire game, at the helm. And look where they ended up, all three of them made it to the Final 3 as they planned because they were in such control.
* TheCaligula: They ruled the house but they sure were very chaotic and crazy in how they went about controlling everything, especially Paul who relied on chaos and drama to get far, and Josh, who harassed and bullied people by banging pots and pans!
* TheEmpire: As an alliance, they were big, controlling, mean and they were obsessed with using any means necessary to get their alliance to the very end. And they managed to accomplish just that by conducting dirty tactics.

* HopelessWar: Oh boy, Jody were certainly fighting it against the majority of the house. All Jody wanted to do was to earn some numbers so that they would have enough people on their side to advance themselves in the game. But because the vast majority of the house were so blinded by Paul and sided with him over them, Jody pretty much had nothing left to fight for because nobody would take their side in the battle against Paul. Cody and Jessica were pretty much doomed anyways since Cody was a huge target from the start after he abandoned and turned on his own alliance and Jessica was a target because of her association with Cody. Their attempted efforts at battling against Paul were severely foiled as Jessica was evicted before jury even started and Cody was the very first person in jury. Neither had a shot in hell of striking at Paul no matter how much they may have wanted to.
* TheRepublic: Cody and Jessica (along with later Mark and Elena) were the only ones that were trying to stop the Paul, Josh, Christmas, Matt, Raven, Jason and Alex alliance that were controlling everything in the game. Too bad that their efforts in trying to bring down such a powerful alliance failed drastically.

* TheBully: Cody and Jessica were not very pleasant to the other houseguests and they displayed unnecessarily mean and aggressive behavior, in particular towards Josh. Cody has humiliated Josh by calling him a constant victim that cries too much. Jessica has also echoed Cody's sentiment saying that she's sick of seeing him act like a victim all the time. Cody also threatened that he would have no problem physically beating Josh outside of the house. Jessica also fat shamed Josh and insulted his intelligence by calling him stupid and a moron. Cody and Jessica were the meanest houseguests of the season, especially at the start and when they were in power. Although they do become the victims of bullying and harassment from the other houseguests later on in the game which is a serious case of TheDogBitesBack.

* TheDogBitesBack: How the house reacted to them after they managed to treat them so abhorrently at the beginning of the game. Since Cody and Jessica got off on bullying people, humiliating others and making other people feel terrible, the house decided to give Jody a little taste of their own medicine when Paul decided to lead a bullying tirade against Jody in Week 5. Although it can be seen as something that is unnecessary and controversial, some argue that the house snapping back at Jody was completely justified after the many weeks they spent mistreating them and bullying them.
