Though it's not all there as he disregards the need for Bakugan brawling during the third season (in spite of the problems it'd cause), he comes to learn how important the bond between Bakugans and humans is, especially after Serpenteze and Sharktar help him on separate occasions.

While under Tiko's control, he also pursues Riot who's mostly in for the royalty status. Later seasons get poor Athena and Crystal Blue involved as well. Though the former isn't interested in the slightest, Crystal Blue is implied to consider it by the end of his Evolutions return.

[[caption-width-right:350:Calloway Storm]]
It's very important to Storm "The Phantom Thief" that he is not seen as a petty thief. he's very particular with what he goes after and more importantly, the flair in which his heists unfold. He's a great mentor to Ajit, but don't let that fool you into believing that he's not exclusively serving his own interests. He's very selective in which Bakugan he chooses to rollout - only the best for his brawler.
* AffablyEvil: He speaks in a refined, genteel manner.
* AnimalMotif: The Jackal, seeing as he wears a Jackal mask as part of his PhantomThief outfit.
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: [[spoiler: He gets mind controlled by Haavik.]]
* EvilBrit: He's an antagonist with a noticeably posh British accent.
* MentorArchetype: To Ajit.
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: [[spoiler: The first time we see his refined persona break is when Ajit decides to leave him.]]
* ParentalSubstitute: A possibly unintentional one to Ajit. He took him in when he had just run away from his orphanage and decided to train him in the ways of a Phantom thief. He might not see himself as a father, but Ajit certainly does.
* PhantomThief: Brilliant Phantom thief, as far as he's concerned. With his snazzy dressing, preference for elaborate schemes, leaving a flower and his signature motif on any place he has robbed and grand thefts that he pulls off not simply for financial gain but because he views his thefts as art unto itself, he fits this trope to a tee.
* YouHaveFailedMe: [[spoiler: This is what he intends to do to Ajit now that he has left him.]]

Coming from a wealthy family makes Sophire "Savior to the Bakugan" believe she is more important ha most people. Her 'save the Bakugan' mantra is just a cover to her cold hearted personality, gaining status in elite circles and making money through stragetic investment in the Bakugan community. This way she can make a mark on her legacy and become even more rich.
* AffablyEvil: She seems to be a genuinely good person at first glance, but it doesn't take long for her hypocrisy to be revealed.
* ArchEnemy: Wynton Styles is this to her
* DidntThinkThisThrough: What she doesn't realize is that Bakugan not only like fighting, but need to fight as well.
* {{Hypocrite}}: She says her main goal is to prevent Bakugan from being forced to fight each other, yet uses a device that forces Bakugan to fight each other.
* MakingASplash: She uses Aquos Centipod which belonged to someone else originally.

[=McQ=] "The Arms Dealer" has a lot of buiness connections which he uses to build his empire. Ever since the Bakugan arrived on Earth he's been looking for as many ways as possible to maximize his profits by buying and selling all things related to brawling. He's been critical to creaing the black market for illegal adult brawlers who use Bakugan control devices. If there's an opportunity to make money, you can bet he's already in on it.
* ArchEnemy: Shun in particular, and the Kazami in general, are this to him, due to the fact that they tanked his company.
* FieryRedhead: He has red hair, and is a Pyrus brawler.
* FromNobodyToNightmare: He went from a young tech CEO to illegal arms dealer.
