The famous ninja Hattori Hanzō was a vassal of UsefulNotes/TokugawaIeyasu who fought to curtail Templar schemes during the Sengoku Period, as well as a member of the Japanese Assassin Brotherhood. Directly responsible for the deaths of numerous Templar and Templar aligned generals, samurai, and ninja in Japan during the late 16th Century, and indirectly responsible for the death of UsefulNotes/OdaNobunaga in order to recover his Sword of Eden, he was eventually killed by his rival Fūma Kotarō in 1596.
