Spelling/grammar fix(es)

* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Arion becomes this in his later life contrary to his upbringing; In the 1600s, he was willing to force Superman (after traveling to the future) to stopping his heroics and let civilization fall in order to advert a dark possible future that ends up killing all of humanity. Superman didn't take kindly to this. In the modern era, he was also pretty mean to Power Girl, who was considered his great-granddaughter. Even though he revealed to have lied about that, he still didn't treat her well. With that said, he still has the best of humanity at heart despite his scorn towards their ignorance, agrees with Superman's insertion that humanity will not give up nor should it, and that he does care for Power Girl.

Superman didn't take kindly to this. In the modern era, he was also pretty mean to Powergirl, who was considered his great-granddaughter. Even though he revealed to have lied about that, he still didn't treat her well. With that said, he still has the best of humanity at heart despite his scorn towards their ignorance, agrees with Superman's insertion that humanity will not give up nor should it, and that he does care for Powergirl.
** InsufferableGenius: Despite Calculha's teachings and lesson that he learned, he hasn't shaken off his arrogance. The ''DC Encyclopedia: Updated and Expanded'' notes that he is very aware that his studies and heritage makes him extremely powerful and he isn't afraid to flaunt that around. With that said, he is considered one of DCU's most powerful sorcerers. And for good reason.

Badass Mustache and Badass Beard were merged into Manly Facial Hair. Examples that don't fit or are zero-context are removed. Having facial hair is not enough to qualify. To qualify for Manly Facial Hair, the facial hair must be associated with manliness in some way. Please read the trope description before re-adding to make sure the example qualifies.

The Lord High Mage and later King of Atlantis. Arion is the oldest son of Caluclha and Majistra. After a family feud left his body in an intagible state and his soul in Darkworld, he was freed and ascended to his poliical stations with Wyynde, Chian, and Mara by his side. However, despite his best efforts, Atlantis fell and he resumed his duties as a Lord of Order with wanning powers. In the modern era, he regains his powers and fights evil (reluctantly) once more until his demise by Mordru.

* JerkwithaHeartofGold: Arion becomes this in his later life contrary to his upbringing; In the 1600s, he was willing to force Superman (after travelling to the future) to stopping his heroics and let civilization fall in order to advert a dark possible future that ends up killing all of humanity. Superman didn't take kindly to this. In the modern era, he was also pretty mean to Powergirl, who was considered his great-grandaughter.
* TheDreaded: Both Pre-Flashpoint and New 52, Arion is definitely considered this to those who are evil. Most antagonists in his series take precautions when dealing with him specifically and most fail ultimately.

The father of Garn and Arion, the latter whom he apprenticed. Calculha was once a former king who ushered in a true era and peace and was the leading sorcerer in Atlantis.

* TheDragon: Unknown to most of the Atlantean pantheon, he is actually this; the universal consciousness that created Darkworld considered him a peer and his previous guardian.

to:

* IWasQuiteALooker: In the past, Calculha was quite attractive and had vibrant brown hair when he was younger.
* HeroicSacrifice: When Arion sacrificed his body to usurp the Zodiac Crystals from Majistra upon being asked so by his father, his body began converting to energy and Calculha did his best to convert energy into a sphere to send into space while sending Arion's soul to Darkworld. The result of his attempt jettisoned him into Darkworld with no way out for centuries.
* TheOmniscient: One of his powers includes being able to know almost everything that's happening for the most part. In the past however, there are some instances that shows limitations to which he can foresee although this was before he increased his already great power while sealed away.

Added DiffLines:

* EvilCounterpart: Majistra is strife and darkness to Calculha's good and light. This didn't stop them from hooking up for a time however, producing twins.

* Really700YearsOld: Has been around since even before creation.
* AgeWithoutYouth: Although stated to be immortal, by the present time of ''Arion, Lord of Altantis'', Calculha is past his prime physically and in power.
* GodIsGood: Is considered a force of good in the Atlantean pantheon
* TopGod: Is this to the Atlantean pantheon to most. Even though Chaon is one of the three "balancing" forces (retconned to being a Lord of Chaos), he calls him master still.
** AuthorityEqualsAsskicking: He is considered the most powerful god of the Atlantean pantheon and is pretty powerful, arguably moreso than Arion; Chaon learned this the hard way despite being one of the 3 balances (and later retconned into one the Lords of Chaos).
* BigGood: Is a follower of the Lords of Order, was a benevolent king that brought in the first era of peace in Atlantis's history, and always fought against evil forces like Majistra, his wife.

* {{The Archmage}}: Is considered this in Atlantis in both his series and the entire DCU in the context of Atlantis alongside Atlan, though he is more prevalent. After the New 52, he is solely considered this as Atlan is no longer a explicit mage.
