When Sonic found out the Babylon Rouges were partially at fault and had no shred of empathy for the citizens. He was more than itching to lay the hurt on them. Circumstances prevented him from doing so but he did keep them from getting what they wanted, ending with this threat toward the trio in an [[TranquilFury eerily stoic tone]].

* TheGoodGuysAlwaysWin: According to Mammoth Mogul and Eggman, Sonic's long-term exposure to Chaos Energy has essentially made him an AnthropomorphicPersonification of Chaos; thus, no matter what plans the various villains try, Sonic will ''always'' find a way to win. This has driven Mammoth Mogul to play the LongGame, using his {{immortality}} to his advantage and simply wait until Sonic dies of old age or just gets too old to fight.
** A meta example also, since [[ExecutiveMeddling alleged mandates in the comic insist]] Sonic can't suffer a full loss against the villains (at least not without it being reversed by the end of it's respective story). Many of his victories however have been ''very'' bittersweet.
