* AccidentalPervert: PlayedWith in episode 5. He visits Ako's house, and gets a key to her room from her mother. Ako, obviously startled by his appearance, tells him not to come into the room, but he does it anyway. He sees her barely wearing her underwear, and immediately closes the door. She then tells him she's ready a few moments later, and he opens the door again, only to find her completely naked. He then closes the door again and tells her to PleasePutSomeClothesOn.

* SwordAndSorcerer: His avatar at LA is a sword-wielding knight while his in-game wife Ako's avatar is a WhiteMagicianGirl. Ako is supposed to provide support to Rusian with healing and enhancement spells, but she often fails to do so because she gets distracted with online chats.

* BookDumb: She isn't good at studying. The Net Game club and their teacher had to force her into a study session to help her pass the tests before summer vacation.

* CannotTellFictionFromReality: The core problem with Ako's behavior. At the start of the series, Ako doesn't have much in her life besides LA. She really sees her friends as their game characters and believes she and Rusian are a real married couple. Her friends started a club in order to help her understand what's real and what's not.

* ComicallyMissingThePoint: When Rusian tries to confess his love for her, it doesn't get through Ako because she believes they're married, so them loving each other and dating is a given.
* CovertPervert: For such a naïve girl, she's quite knowledgeable about sexuality and seduction. She also doesn't hide how much she wants her and Rusian to finally consummate their "marriage".
* CuteAndPsycho: She's extremely sweet and adorable, but at the mere mention of "normies" she gets DullEyesOfUnhappiness and chants a mantra about how all "normies" should die. The "psycho" starts to slowly fade away as she interacts with her friends in real life.

* GodivaHair: During her nude scenes, her hair conveniently covers her breasts.
* {{Hikikomori}}: She rarely attends school and stays all day locked inside her room playing LA. It's the club's efforts for Ako to have more real-life experiences and interactions that let her get better.
* HomeNudist: When locked inside her bedroom playing LA, she habitually is in her underwear or completely naked.

* TheIngenue: Despite the amount of time she spends on the internet and online gaming, Ako is surprisingly ignorant about digital culture's dark side. She uses her contact info for game identities, doesn't know about real money trade, and willing to meet complete strangers from the game. Akane has pointed out that Ako was fortuitous Hideki (and the rest of the Alley Cats) turned out to be an honest and morally strong individual, rather than a dangerous creep. On the other hand she's quite knowledgeable about sexuality and seduction, so it's probable she's seen online porn.

On the other hand she's quite knowledgeable about sexuality and seduction, so it's probable she's seen online porn.

* InnocentlyInsensitive: Ako has a lot of trouble separating her life inside the game from reality, which can cause uncomfortable situations for others. She unintentionally embarrasses Rusian and Akane in front of their entire class by blurting out their online character traits. Later, Rusian tries to ask her to be his girlfriend and she answers with a "No way" straight to his face. When Rusian is moping about it, Akane has Ako explain that she doesn't want to be demoted from wife to girlfriend.

* NakedPeopleAreFunny: In episode five, he visits Ako's house, and gets a key to her room from her mother. to:

* NakedPeopleAreFunny: In episode five, he visits Ako's house, LoveBeforeFirstSight: She fell in love with Rusian by chatting with him in LA, long before meeting him in real life. Rusian thinks this is a mere part of her delusions, but Ako affirms her love for him is real and gets a key to her room from her mother. Ako, obviously startled by his appearance, tells him not to come into pure.
* MessyHair: Her hair always looks disheveled and unkempt. Given
the room, but he does way she is, it anyway. He sees her barely wearing her underwear, and immediately closes the door. She then tells him she's ready wouldn't be a few moments later, and he opens the door again, only surprise if she never bothers to find her completely naked. He then closes the door again and tells her to put some clothes on.comb it.

* SelfProclaimedLoveInterest: Because Ako doesn't get an in-game marriage doesn't equal to being married in real life, she openly calls Rusian her husband in front of everyone. While Rusian does like her back, he would be happier if she accepted being his real-life girlfriend first.
* ShamelessFanserviceGirl: She's ''eager'' to show off her body to Rusian. In one episode, Rusian walks in on her in nothing but her underwear. Ako then asks him for a moment to ''take off'' her underwear.

* SkippingSchool: She doesn't like going to school because being around people makes her anxious. She only starts going more regularly to class after she forms a JapaneseSchoolClub with her online friends.

* StockingFiller: Her online avatar wears a set of garters and thigh-high socks.
* StrongFamilyResemblance: The only visible difference between her and her mom is that her mom is slightly taller and combs her hair.
* SwordAndSorcerer: At LA, she's the WhiteMagicianGirl who casts supportive spells to aid her in-game husband, the sword-wielding knight Rusian. However, she has a bad habit of getting distracted with online chats and forgetting about Rusian when he needs her support in battle.
* TallPoppySyndrome: She has a deep-rooted hatred towards "normies".

* WhiteMage: Ako is the healer, though she's not particularly good at it and often gets distracted when Rusian needs help.
* {{Yandere}}: Downplayed increasingly as the series goes on, and taken as proof that the club is working to an extent: Ako is obsessed with Rusian, clinging to him in and out of school, despises non-gamers and is very distressed to see him with girls she does not know. She even attacks [[spoiler:Saitou-sensei after she realizes she is the "Nekohime" who broke Rusian's heart, but with a toy prop rather than an actual weapon.]] By the time [[spoiler: Sette]] shows up as potential competition, however, Ako "only" spends a day at home playing ''Legendary Age'' with the implication of living inside the game forever; it's a minor improvement!

* SupportingHarem: {{Averted}}. Despite the premise of having only one guy in a school club filled primarily with girls, the Net Game Club isn't treated as Hideki's harem at all, especially given that their primary goal is to help Ako recognize the differences between the game and real worlds. Aside from a few ShipTease moments from Akane and Nanako, none of them show any romantic feelings towards him and the same applies in reverse, instead retaining a platonic camaraderie with each other instead.
