* ForWantOfANail: The universe he hales from starts off as identical to Earth-616 except for a minor detail being changed - in this case Frank Castle finds the symbiote in the Our Lady of Saints church, and leaves just as Eddie Brock arrives to commit suicide.

With the symbiote, Normie set out to become a superhero, though he secretly instructed his secretary to have Spider-Girl kill him if he ever lost control. He was arrested for harbouring the alien by Franchise/TheAvengers, who assigned him to Kaine's squad for reformed supervillains after he stopped a rampaging ComicBook/WarMachine. When Spider-Girl was mortally wounded by the Hobgoblin's Scriers, both Normie and the symbiote rampaged until they had killed or driven back their enemies. The symbiote then transferred itself to Spider-Girl in order to save her life and empower her, removing Normie's tattoos and scars - mementos of his time as the Green Goblin - as a parting gift, and sacrificed itself to protect her and Peter from the Hobgoblin.

* TheAhnold: Pork Grind is an AffectionateParody of Arnold Schwarzenegger, being extremely muscular and speaking in a thick Austrian accent.
* FullBoarAction: He's an anthropomorphic boar with spider-powers, although whether he's bonded to Earth-8311's version of the Venom symbiote is unclear.
* FunnyAnimal: Like the other inhabitants of Earth-8311, he's an anthropomorphic animal.
* PigMan: Like Spider-Ham, he's an anthropomorphic pig... except Pork Grind is massively bigger and has tusks.
* ToonPhysics: Pork Grind studied at Toon U in order to learn how to fight using cartoon physics.

* ArrangedMarriage: Was put into one with [[{{Yandere}} Élan DeJunae]] by Norman.
* BadassInANiceSuit: He typically had the symbiote disguise itself [[http://symbiote.fr/images/comics/spidergirl-9615.jpg as business attire]].
* BenevolentBoss: Normie treated Kristy Watson, his secretary, with a degree of respect that contrasted sharply with his grandfather.
* DeathSeeker: During his time as the Green Goblin, Normie hoped May would kill him.
* DoNotCallMePaul: He objects to being called "Venom", as that was the moniker the symbiote went by when bonded to Eddie Brock.
* HeelFaceTurn: Normie undergoes one, and his caring nature convinces the Venom symbiote to undergo one as well.
* HeroicSacrifice: The symbiote sacrifices itself to save May and ''Peter'' from the Hobgoblin.
* LegacyCharacter: Normie manages to be one to both his father and grandfather, and to Eddie Brock as well.
* MultiArmedAndDangerous: As Dusk he was capable of manifesting extra arms, once trying to punch Kaine during a sparring match by sprouting one from his upper back.
* NonStandardCharacterDesign: When he first bonded with the symbiote, Normie looked identical to the Eddie Brock version of Venom. As Dusk, he has normal teeth in lieu of fangs, and a ''very'' prominent LanternJawOfJustice.

* CrusadingWidower: Or widow, in Anne's case, as a possible call-back to the original concept for Venom. In Anne's universe, Eddie Brock committed suicide after the Sin-Eater Incident. Consumed with rage towards everyone involved -- including herself for not having been able to stop Eddie, Anne broke into Our Lady of Saints Church and was found by the Venom symbiote. This Venom is truly immortal, being near 2 trillion years old before meeting his death at his own hands, being capable of storing the mental imprints, memories, genetic codes, and any powers of a whole universe's biological life, he is able to spread his bio-matter and bond with entire planets, use genetically-enhanced superpowers to populated entire galaxies, effortlessly terraform worlds, create ultra-tough gene-crafted lifeforms, view across the entire universe using the senses of his hive-minded hosts, outspeed the near-infinite processing capacities of the artificial super-intelligences, and time-travel across the entire timeline and bond to every biological organism that ever lived, and unfold his internal tesseract space into a world-annihilating super-weapon.

After being freed, she agrees to join Samurai Squad as the team's heavy-hitter.more information.

* AmnesiacVillainJoinsTheHeroes: Kage has amnesia and remembers nothing of its past, but joins the Samurai Squad because it is loyal to Neiro and wants to protect her.
* AttemptedRape: Neiro is on the receiving end of it from an ''otaku'' who tries to force her under his control using a brainwashing collar, but Deadpool manages to destroy it.
* AttentionWhore: Neiro is obsessed with being adored by her fans, and strictly forbids her symbiote from harming anyone who fawns over her, even if they're trying to kill her.
* TheBigGuy: Once she joins Samurai Squad, Neiro becomes the team's heavy-hitter... [[spoiler:and is [[TheWorfEffect quickly and easily beaten]] by Thanos.]]
* BilingualBonus: Kage's name means "Shadow" in Japanese.
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: In the fourth chapter, [[spoiler:she's fitted with a Hydra mind-control collar and brainwashed by Loki, trying to eat Deadpool in Chapter 5, but is freed by Deadpool and Bruce Banner]].
* ButNowIMustGo: She leaves before the final battle for a concert.
* ButtMonkey: Between being the victim of a brainwashing and having to have Kage try to mellow her out, she doesn't have it easy.
* CanonForeigner: Neiro has no Marvel Universe counterpart to speak of.
* CompositeCharacter: While it's implied that Kage is in fact the ComicBook/{{Venom}} symbiote, its more goofy personality, its attempts to be a proper guide for Neiro, its love of chocolate, the lack of the white spider symbol, and its physical appearance in its bonded form call to mind Creator/TomHardy's version from ''Film/Venom2018''.
* DemonHead: When Kage ''really'' wants to eat someone, its head grows into an enormous maw resembling the Beast of Darkness from ''Manga/{{Berserk}}''.
* DistaffCounterpart: As an anti-hero symbiote host, Neiro is more or less one to Eddie Brock.
* EatingTheEnemy: Neiro has zero qualms about [[ImAHumanitarian eating people]] -- as long as they're not her fans -- and doing so is her go-to combat tactic.
* EmbarrassingNickname: Neiro calls her symbiote "Kage" -- a nickname it detests.
* EvenTheGirlsWantHer: Sakura Spider blushes and smiles lecherously when talking about Neiro resting in the changing room after a performance, leading to Deadpool calling her out on being a pervert.
* {{Expy}}: Much like how Sakura Spider is a deliberate off-brand gender-flipped ripoff of Spider-Man, Neiro is an off-brand gender-flipped ripoff of Venom. Her monstrous form resembles the 2018 movie version of Venom, which Deadpool lampshades when he fights her.
* GameFace: Only transforms her face when dealing with a fan who tries to commit a murder-suicide with her, though she keeps her face hidden so that her fans don't notice.
* GirlishPigtails: Neiro sports a pair of hip-length pigtails, accentuating her (usually) super-cute appearance. Even her symbiote form has them.
* IdolSinger: Neiro is a teenaged girl who works as a popular idol singer, and happens to be the host of a not-so-evil symbiote.
* ItsAllAboutMe: Although she's genuinely heroic, she can be very self-centered. For example, when Kage eats one of her fans, she won't let him on the grounds that she doesn't want ''any'' of her fans to be eaten (everyone else is fair game though), and when all the villains gather on Mt. Fuji, she runs off to go to a concert.
* LaserGuidedAmnesia: The Kage symbiote somehow wound up in Japan and lost all of its memories, and claims it's just using Neiro to get them back.
* MadeASlave: She's brainwashed by Loki, who intends to recruit her into his new team of super-villains; though Loki is helped by a slovenly overweight ''otaku'' who he promised could use Neiro as a SexSlave once she was brainwashed.
* MoralityPet: She's one to "Kage", and he tries to act like one to her (key word being "tries").
* MoreTeethThanTheOsmondFamily: When devouring her LoonyFan and trying to eat people in general, Kage transforms her head into a massive set of fang-lined jaws resembling the Beast of Darkness from ''Manga/{{Berserk}}''.
* MythologyGag: Like Venom's ''Ultimate'' and ''Sony's Spider-Man Universe'' counterparts, he lacks the giant white spider symbol on his chest.
* OnlySixFaces: Deadpool hangs a lampshade on the prevalence of this trope in manga by pointing out that aside from their hair Sakura Spider and Neiro look fairly similar.
* SecretIdentity: Her fans are unaware that she's hosting a symbiote, and her bodyguards ''might'' be unaware given their surprise when the man attacking her suddenly vanishes. Regardless, Neiro makes an effort to keep people from seeing her face while it's transformed.
* SkewedPriorities:
** In Chapter 4, Neiro tells her symbiote she doesn't care who it eats so long as they're not her fans -- completely disregarding that one of said fans tried to murder her. When Loki approaches her, she goes from threatening to tear him apart to cheerfully offering him a Pocky when he calls himself a huge fan of hers. She even forgives the overweight ''otaku'' for his plot to rape her just because he says he's her fan... though she concedes that if he ''wasn't'' her fan she'd make sure he died screaming. Deadpool calls her out on this and then blows the ''otaku''[='=]s brains out.
** In Chapter 11, Neiro runs off to perform in a concert despite the fate of Japan being on the line, bluntly declaring that she cares more about making her fans happy.
* TinyHeadedBehemoth: Her monstrous form has a huge muscular body and a comparatively tiny head.
* ToServeMan: When a LoonyFan pulls a knife and attacks her in Chapter 3, Neiro's symbiote promptly swallows him whole before anyone notices what's happened; and judging by her argument with the symbiote in Chapter 4, it's not the first time this has happened. She also goes on a feeding frenzy when faced with a squad of Hydra soldiers.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Chocolate and [[ToServeMan human flesh]].
* TheUglyGuysHotDaughter: Gender-flipped in regards to Neiro's mother, who -- especially when compared to her daughter -- isn't taking home any beauty contest prizes. However, this saw her be harassed and even told to kill herself by callous and cruel bystanders, fuelling Neiro's obsession with being loved by all out of the belief that she can't let her mother's suffering have been for nothing.
* VitriolicBestBuds: Neiro and her symbiote argue continually with each other when she's not on-stage, but have each others' backs.
* WellDoneSonGuy: In Chapter 4, her symbiote implies that the reason why Neiro DesperatelyCravesAffection as an idol singer is because she wants her MissingMom's approval, with Chapter 5 implying that her mother was DrivenToSuicide by the insults hurled at her for her unattractive appearance.
* TheWorfEffect: Kage and Neiro are established as the team's heavy hitter, and are more than capable of mowing through Hydra soldiers... but against Thanos suffer an inglorious CurbStompBattle.

Deadpool calls her out on this and then blows the ''otaku''[='=]s brains out.out.
** In Chapter 11, Neiro runs off to perform in a concert despite the fate of Japan being on the line, bluntly declaring that she cares more about making her fans happy.
