*** There is of course, the ubiquitous "Dattebayo" ("Believe it!", though the dub version was scrapped in under 35 episodes). "Dattebayo" is an [[LikeFatherLikeSon inherited]] catchphrase from his mother, Kushina, who used the phrase "Dattebane" (roughly translated as "Ya know"). Admittingly, it served more as a VerbalTic, which was referenced when Naruto saw Kushina for the first time.
