** If Creator/KatharineHepburn and Creator/CaryGrant made a screwball comedy where they were Power Rangers, it would probably turn out something like Amelia and Ollie's romantic subplot in Series/PowerRangersDinoFury. They spend the first season butting heads with snarky banter about their clashing perspectives on life: she's an imaginative believer in ghosts and he's logical and puts his faith in science. As they get to know each other better, their back-and-forth becomes more playful. They officially become a couple partway through season two, though they still have a lot of fun teasing each other.

** Also Ziggy Grover and Dr. K from Series/PowerRangersRPM. What makes it even funnier is that their actors (Milo Cawthorne and Creator/OliviaTennet) have been dating in real life since the show ended, eventually getting married in 2013 but separating a few years later.

* Rick Castle and Kate Beckett from Series/Castle scream this trope at the top of their lungs every episode. It progressed from secondary cast members noticing it, to suspects and witnesses who had never seen them before making comments, to eventually the two of them finally acknowledging the attraction, first to themselves and finally to each other. Amusingly, even with the RelationshipUpgrade their dynamic hasn't changed one bit. They constantly snark at, belittle, and annoy each other... and then tumble into bed.

* Luke and Reid from Series/AsTheWorldTurns. They are constantly snarking at each other but everyone knows they will end up together. They got together before the show ended, but only for a little while.

* Series/TheNewsroom: Will and Mac. They spend two full seasons bickering back and forth, with Will repeatedly punishing her for cheating on him back when they were together before the series. The attraction is still there for both of them, but they're both wounded and can't come to terms with it [[spoiler: until Will finally realizes that he's still in love with her, and he OOCIsSeriousBusiness fumbles around a marriage proposal. She accepts.]]

* Wendy and Hodges on Series/CSI. The common theory is that at some point Wendy will have to either kiss Hodges or punch him. Possibly both.

* A subplot of one Series/StarTrekDeepSpaceNine episode involves Chief O'Brien being forced to work with a female Cardassian engineer. The two spend the entire episode bickering and sniping at each other. He interprets her apparent hostility as typical Cardassian disdain for humans. She interprets his apparent hostility as O'Brien coming onto her, since apparently BST forms the basis of Cardassian courtship. They're both quite relieved when they realize the problem and he explains he's married. (The Garak/Bashir slashers proceeded to have a lot of fun with the implications of Garak arguing with Bashir over literature.) It also goes a long way to explaining why Dukat never quite gave up pursuing Kira; from his perspective her snarky putdowns refusing his advances were giving him really mixed signals.

El and Mike don't constantly bicker and Max and Mike don't have the "sexual/romantic" tension required

** Max is very belligerent with the party before hooking up with Lucas.
*** Max continues to mildly have it with Lucas in Season 3 and inspires some between Mike and Eleven as well.
*** Heck, Mike and Max have even more than any of the other kids given their constant arguing. It actually gets unexpectedly intense, especially in the third season.
