* TheReveal that [[spoiler:Logan is the Jigsaw Killer]], swiftly followed by them killing off the guy you ''thought'' to be the killer is quite the [[EstablishingCharacterMoment badass introduction]] to our new Jigsaw.

* After finding out what a horrible bitch Anna has been (killing her own baby and then framing her husband for it which lead to him killing himself all without a hint of remorse) seeing her brains blown out while trying to kill Ryan is utterly satisfying.

* Lawrence's wife Alison turning the tables on her kidnapper, Zepp, to save both herself and her daughter, untying and ungagging herself, fighting off a grown man and holding him at gunpoint. And then there's the fact that they're among the only characters who are still alive by the end of the series.

* [[ReplacementScrappy Say what you will about Hoffman]], but you have to admit that [[spoiler:his whole plan to break into a police station using the BodybagTrick just to kill Jill Tuck]] was very clever.
* Finally seeing the Reverse Bear Trap kill someone. Sick, but cool nonetheless.
* Simone, the survivor of the flesh scale trap from the beginning of Saw VI, attends a Jigsaw Survivor meeting in the following movie. While the other survivors talk on about how grateful they are for having gone through their tests and what a great method Jigsaw employs, Simone rightly points out what fucked up methods Jigsaw employed. The best part is when one of the survivors claims that her life's improved due to Jigsaw helping her escape an abusive relationship (i.e. putting her in a contest where she was forced to kick her partner into a room full of rotating lawnmower blades) she calls her out on how ridiculous that is.

* Opinions may vary on whether or not the last film was all that good, it had one of the best endings of the series. [[spoiler: Lawrence, who we last saw 7 years ago in the first movie, returns and finally gives Hoffman, the cold-hearted sociopathic bastard, his just desserts by chaining him by the ankle in the bathroom he himself was first trapped in. As you hear Hoffman scream his F-U's, Lawrence calmly states "Game over", and locks the door behind him. AssPull maybe, but it was still ''goddamn awesome''.]]
** Another bit from that scene; [[spoiler:Dr. Gordon picks up the saw he used to cut off his own foot, and after a brief flashback of that moment, he just smirks at Hoffman and says, "I don't think so." He then throws the saw out into the hallway. Hoffman didn't give his victims a chance in his traps, so Dr. Gordon isn't giving him a chance, either.]]

* In a meta sense; after a ''seven year'' SequelGap and the series having a less-than-stellar reputation, ''Jigsaw'', by all appearances, managed to ''successfully restart the franchise'' by earning $102 million and is generally considered to be one of the better entries, among both [[SoOkayItsAverage critics]] and [[SurprisinglyImprovedSequel fans]].

* Rigg coldly telling Ivan to strap himself into a Jigsaw trap. Seeing how Rigg is being tested because of his ChronicHeroSyndrome, him having no pity for a cruel serial rapist is satisfying.

* Hoffman killing three cops in about five seconds, while armed with nothing but a small knife and a cup of coffee.

* Rigg coldly telling a rapist to strap himself into a Jigsaw trap. Seeing how Rigg is being tested because of his ChronicHeroSyndrome, him embracing Jigsaw's own brand of punishment on such a scumbag is kind of satisfying.

* The absolute NervesOfSteel Obi has when being threatened: Xavier has a knife to Obi's throat after [[spoiler:learning that Obi helped kidnap them]] and is loudly and angrily ordering Obi to enter one of Jigsaw's traps to retrieve two antidotes for them. After Obi doesn't so much as flinch during this whole ordeal, he calmly reaches up, takes hold of the blade of Xavier's knife, and - ''still without flinching'' - drags it across his own throat to draw a bit of blood.

* Jigsaw's entire plan for Adam and Lawrence in the first movie could qualify as his CMOA, considering the elaborate and mind screwing way he executes it. Also doubles as his ''MoralEventHorizon'', when you think of the family he was holding hostage to accomplish it.

* Lawrence's wife Alison turning the tables on her kidnapper, Zepp, to save both herself and her daughter, untying and ungagging herself, fighting off a grown man and holding him at gunpoint. And then there's the fact that they're among the only ''characters'' who are still alive by the end of the series.

* Eric Matthews may have been a {{Jerkass}}, but you can't argue his love for his son. He [[spoiler: smashed his own foot to bits, and still took on Amanda. He had her all but beat too.]] By Saw IV, he seemed to have lost hope, but even at the end [[spoiler: stuck it out through the trap he was stuck in and attempted to kill a man (who was Rigg, unbeknownst to him)]] for a chance at living an seeing [[spoiler: his son again.]]
* If you play Saw: The Video Game right, Tapp escapes the Reverse Bear Trap with his bare hands, rescues all of the prisoners, and takes down Jigsaw's newest henchman.

* Also, after seeing Jigsaw [[KarmaHoudini walk away from all his actions at the end of the first Saw film,]] seeing Eric Matthews give him a damn good beating was somewhat satisfying.
